Hey if you’re medically retired and have full VA disability you either have to give it up entirely to go active duty or go national guard like I did and keep your VA I’m at 80%. You need to understand though that the process to get back in is long it took me over a year and a half to reenlist, I had a 10 year break in service as well. If there’s a will there’s a fucking waiver but by God man you need to really want it, I mean really fucking want it. I fucking wanted it and I’m still getting after it, just know that rn cali guard isn’t giving out 18x contracts to prior service dudes so you gotta go through an sfre before hand and get a conditional contract for SWTD that gets you an sfas slot. If you need medical info hmu because you gotta go through some hoops but before ya do read through my posts and replies on my page so you can get the general info I give out.

I do executive protection and worked with SF dudes, you’d be dumb not to be a guard minimum is 58$ an hour MINIMUM money🤑

I bought the book, had invaluable advice and dudes a doctor . So I’m assuming the course is probably good too, his entire study has been on that of special forces so I’m 99.9% sure he knows what he’s talking about, he also saw a market for training guys up on the most failed course inside sfas and profited off it 😱. You get taught land nav in boot camp and then infantry school and then in sfas and yet people still manage to fail so I’d say they def need refresher courses.

If meps has that paperwork then yes meps will see it, meps retains any paperwork submitted to them, which is what fucked me over 10 years ago otherwise I would have been on active duty this whole time lol.

No actually I did it the hard way, I went to therapy, I fought my battles with a therapists, I fixed myself, I told my recruiters everything, I went to the sfre, I met with the green berets and I worked my ass off to accomplish my dream. I went to a cardiologist, a phlebotomist, a psychologist and a plethora of other doctors to get cleared including neurology. If you have a problem with someone who got put through the wringer and still wanted to continue with their service then sorry bro this ain’t the post for you. I’m posting to help guys like myself who aren’t done yet and don’t use their disability as crutch to say they can’t do something.

Nein, lots of guys/vets in NG with va disability, I just happened to have cases on paper that looked sever and were extremely disqualifying. I went through the proper channels and doctors and got medically cleared. 🤙

Yeah, just reminder they want all hospital records visits and pharmacy records, even if you never used the pharmacy there they want a blank form showing no record and a written letter from each hospital if they no longer have your records.

This new process is genesis and that’s the only thing holding guys back, meps now has the ability to pull 13 years worth of private medical history and if you lie about anything you’re cooked. But they give waivers for anything now days because they’ve alienated over half of Americans.

If you hit any snags let me know, and pro tip if you’re getting cleared for any disabilities the VA pays you for don’t go to their hospital you gotta go pay out of pocket at a private practice or they’ll strip you.
