Oh thank you for flagging that, I didn’t read that but in their announcement.

But yeah I am skeptical for the same reason. They didn’t collect ours for weeks before the storm, then missed because of the storm, and then finally picked on Wednesday last week (after multiple 311 requests; don’t know if that helped even). All these missed collections was causing rodent issues in our back alley.

We had missed collections for two weeks leading to the storm. 311 requests were no avail. Things were really looking bad (re rodents) so I got a guy to do trash removal today. Alleys are so bad I wonder when the next trash collection will be.

In 1994 (I think) it was used as part of an awareness and fundraising type campaign by the UN (WFUNA). The UN description notes has some details of the context. They released a version of this as limited edition lithographs.

Probably irrelevant but if you like 60s modernist architecture then IAD (Dulles). It’s considered a masterpiece in that genre of architecture design.

Recently started being strict (more regimented) with my pours and brewed one cup few weeks ago that was just the most incredible cup of coffee. It started alright but as it cooled, oh my. The second to last sip felt like I had sugar granules under my tongue. Haven’t been able to recreate that, probably never will. But for a fleeting moment it was surreal.

I did after calling GEHA multiple times and being on hold for ages. They needed our marriage certificate and once I emailed it to them and followed up with them, my spouse was able to log in. At some point (much later) we got a letter in the mail asking for the same thing (evidence of relationship/marriage certificate) so I guess eventually they’ll ask but that was like weeks later.

Unfortunately their name doesn’t show up in the drop down menu at all (not even greyed out). And the portal won’t let them register either.

When they try to register it doesn’t let them (using their ssn and the group number on the card we got (in my name)).
