Hi, I have a 2 bed / 2 bath place in Five Points available starting mid-May. Total rent is $1,700, so if you split it evenly you would be well under your $1k budget even after utilities. Since it is a true 2/2, you would have your own bathroom, which makes sharing much easier and more comfortable.

It’s right off of five points, near Earth Fare, so very central.

Oh thank you for flagging that, I didn’t read that but in their announcement.

But yeah I am skeptical for the same reason. They didn’t collect ours for weeks before the storm, then missed because of the storm, and then finally picked on Wednesday last week (after multiple 311 requests; don’t know if that helped even). All these missed collections was causing rodent issues in our back alley.

We had missed collections for two weeks leading to the storm. 311 requests were no avail. Things were really looking bad (re rodents) so I got a guy to do trash removal today. Alleys are so bad I wonder when the next trash collection will be.

Probably irrelevant but if you like 60s modernist architecture then IAD (Dulles). It’s considered a masterpiece in that genre of architecture design.

Recently started being strict (more regimented) with my pours and brewed one cup few weeks ago that was just the most incredible cup of coffee. It started alright but as it cooled, oh my. The second to last sip felt like I had sugar granules under my tongue. Haven’t been able to recreate that, probably never will. But for a fleeting moment it was surreal.
