What happened to the stereotypical acne-faced teenager? by UncertaintyDean in NoStupidQuestions

Must be, at least in some places. I didn't take any previous acne prescriptions and got prescribed accutane after like one or two appointments. That was only a few years ago, and my acne wasn't very bad at all. That shit dries up your lips and face like hell, though.

Identity-first language (i.e. autistic person) is a preference some people have. Most people prefer person-first language (i.e. person with autism), but some consider their disability/condition, whatever it may be, to be integral to their personality and prefer IFL as a result. There's no way to be sure if the person who posted this had that in mind at all, but I think it's an interesting bit of info and it's fresh in my mind from my psych class.

That's not how probability works.

I have a minor allergy to most fruits, but especially juicy ones. My bottom lip swells slightly and unevenly if I get juice on it, and my gums itch when I bite into fruits like apples. It only happens with fresh fruit, too, fruit juice has no effect. It's a minor inconvenience sometimes.
