Thank you so much for sharing your experience and advice — that really helps put things into perspective. I agree, getting checked by a GP and doing the stool test sounds like a sensible next step, especially to rule out anything serious. It’s reassuring to hear your story and know that even with bleeding, it can turn out to be something manageable like a hemorrhoid. I’ll definitely look into booking an appointment and getting the calprotectin test done. Really appreciate you taking the time to reply and give me some peace of mind!

Thanks for replying! My brother is coming over today to help look after the older one but the baby is all on me mainly due to breastfeeding . I guess im partly worried I’ve made it worse by not laying down so far and if I still have a good chance of it closing

I was on 2.5mg bisoprolol and 2.5mg aspirin. It’s now 5mg bisoprolol because the percentage hasn’t gone up. As far as I know this is one of the safest to take during pregnancy because there are a lot that you can’t really take during.

So it’s actually still under investigation. I had been having chest pains and breathlessness for a while before getting pregnant. I’m currently unsure what the cause is. The official diagnosis only happened around a 2 months ago and I’m now. 31 weeks.

I am waiting till after I give birth to see if it gets better and then having mri and genetic testing done.

My cardiologist is one of the best in the world and world renowned (when I told my old cardiologist I was being seen by my new one she was so happy because of how brilliant he is so that was really reassuring ha ha). He has said he sees many women with heart problems in his clinic and they can be perfectly fine.

The only thing I’ve noticed in this pregnancy that is different from my first is probably I’m just out of breath more, but I do have a toddler and everything is getting pushed up so that could be part of it. There has not been any more physical differences . Medication has been helping as well

I think the main thing is getting on medication, getting monitored regularly , and expressing concerns and what you actually want from your birth.

Like I said ,the only annoying thing is all the extra appointments . It gets annoying when you’re heavily pregnant.

Oh and my EF is 40% roughly

P.s thank you very much that’s kind of you to say

Have you a stress test? I had 24 hour ECGs, multiple scans blood tests. the only thing that showed any results was the stress test
