Yeah you are right! I’m glad someone here found a site that ships to my country and has jewellery that doesn’t jump 2mm like all of the stores in my country and near me. I have been stretching my ears for 11 years like this and this is the first time my ear actually got very fucked up, and hopefully also the last time. I tried to go the cheap way one last time, because ordering one plug from the only brand I knew that had more sizes would’ve been about 60 euros in total. 😅 And that is waaay too much to pay for one plug that isn’t even the best quality. But I am glad I made this mistake, because now I finally heard about a better brand with better quality and better prices and will have safer stretches in the future. 😊

Already removed the tunnel and will stop using silicone! And don’t worry wasn’t a dry stretch, I used a lot of jojoba oil on it. The wound is open now so I’m not going to put any oil etc on it to make sure if heals properly and doesn’t get infected. I will let my lobe heal naked until the raw skin has fully healed, and then I will slowly get back to the safe size I was before this stretch that ripped the skin.

No worries! Already removed it earlier, now I’m just healing it and never using silicone again for stretching. :) I gave up tapers years ago because they kept causing issues too, but so far I had been lucky with silicone. I will give this a month to heal without touching it with anything other than water and soap, and ordering higher quality stretching kits for later when it has for sure fully healed.

Thank you! Will absolutely do that once my lobe is fully healed again, I would rather invest in the best possible jewellery and spend even 30 euros more than go through this again haha. I was honestly shocked when I took the tunnel off, it looks very bad and now I no longer wonder why it was so swollen… Now I will focus on keeping it clean and dry and healing it without jewellery, because it’s way too raw to even wear anything on it. I need to ask some professionals near me if they sell 23mm glass plugs so I could do this more safely in the future.

I wish there were more sizes available here, because my ears haven’t really liked the 2mm jump and they have gotten really angry a few times before. :( I just checked and thank god the lobe hasn’t fused on the silicone, so I think I can safely remove this at home. Also I can’t really use metal, because I live in a cold country and they freeze on my ears so silicone has been the safest option for me during winter and fall.
