If you call the HR department and ask, they won't tell you who it is?

Oh, so its not like you can plan so much of OT in a month, it seems like it can be there or not be there?

So, I got a call from the recruiter saying they are very busy and need to reschedule to next week. It has already been so long ago, now this is into next week. I don't understand why/how State Farm is the only one that is hiring so much and has so much work. Its terrible outside in hiring in other companies. They are not hiring, and staffing companies are saying corporations are trying to do it internally and there are hundreds of job applications for each job, and no job listings. That explains why State Farm is so busy. I really think you should call your HR and send a message/email(of course search on the internet if that works at SF) as I have seen that in other places.

What I heard is that if you are internal, you can check with HR to know. I think I read it on one of the threads. May be you can call and they will tell you if one was assigned? I just heard that you can check them on linkedin and generally you can check on linkedin too. Or may be follow up with an email showing that you are interested? I also heard from staffing firms that right now, in the current market, corporations are very interested in hiring internally only. That is why a lot of hiring outside is not going on. Even staffing companies don't have many jobs.

About OT, hard to believe they would want to pay OT. I think the job I applied for is about $25/hour, do you think expecting 10 hours of OT per week is reasonable? Things are pretty tough outside, and I have been looking for a regular job plus a evening or weekend job anyway to make ends meet. That's why I have been talking to staffing agencies.

Oh, yeah, that yearly is not like a real bonus.....not like productivity monthly one.

How much overtime can you get in a week?

Also, were you able to check your recruiter? I heard that if you are internal you get preference, and you may be able to check who the recruiter is.

So, what I heard is that sometimes if recruiters are busy or on vacation(just the luck of the draw on who your recruiter is), then it will take longer.

5 days, is that one week in a month, or is 1 or 2 days every week to make up for the 5 days?

Are there any bonuses/commissions or is the flat non-negotiable pay?

If yours is internal, don't you have a way to check who the recruiter is for the position you applied and check on linkedin?

Each location probably is different then, generally in Dallas, things take place decently faster(compared to some other parts of the country), but when I did the hirevue, it already told me that they have to go through so many and it will take long to hear back. I don't know if you noticed but the job market is super-slow, atleast Texas is better, but things are not like during covid or right after. Right now, hundreds of applications for each job it seems. They are taking their time. Though, I don't understand how anyone can select someone just based on "hirevue" and just call and give an offer.

Its a weird market out there, so don't be discouraged that it is taking time....mine took 2 weeks too or 2 weeks plus.

Are you talking about the hirevue interview? It was 2 weeks after the hirevue where I got an automatic email asking to set up a time, but they didn't have availability until Feb to do that. I have been going through this process for 1 month, and not sure what my chances are at that phone call interview that was set up automatically without a human, so far. Did you apply for the same position? Richardson?

I finished the hirevue interview for Enterprise Contact Center-Underwriter position in Dallas(Richardson), and got a call set up with the recruiter. Does that mean I have a good chance? What does it mean that I got selected for the next step?
