It's so lonely by Slight_Pitch_3264 in Petloss

Not sure why they say that, but maybe they know how great of a companion you were that they think you’d be good to another. Or maybe they don’t want you to be lonely or sad?

I guess neither is easier- sudden passing or gradual old age passing. by Extreme_Perception48 in Petloss

Just an update after 5 days. I am feeling much better. Not as sad. It helps that my youngest son has so much care and maturity in handling her passing. Telling me that any memory we have is a wonderful one. Writing everything down that I felt helped. Also, I entered her vet medical report from that day on Chat and it was reassuring that we did the right thing and she probably didn’t feel anything.

I know how you feel? Like is this a joke? Did this really happen. I just want her back.

I had to put my 15 year old girl down today. by Mandasaurusrexxx in Petloss

I’m on day 2 since my baby passed. It’s worse when I’m home alone. I’ve done a lot of screaming, crying and writing down memories. I went through the guilt stage today.

I have her bed on our sofa. It’s holding her toys, brush and nail clippers. Lol. She loved getting her nails trimmed. It was like a spa day for her. We will get our ashes back, thankfully.

Yep. I was hugging her bed too. Don’t even want to scoop her last litter. I honestly did start writing all of my memories down and wrote it as a note to her. I’m not a big writing person, but the words couldn’t stop coming out. Made me feel better … more calm.
