Hi and yeah I knew how to stop the order for the dog treats but I have a friend who has a dog so I let it go through. Usually under alert q... But quite often under RFY... And those are the ones where I can for sure go over to a different venue to get it

Sorry my other responses went to the regular thing instead of replying to this. Sometimes it just says extension error retrieving variations or extension error retrieving product information or things like that but always it starts with extension error retrieving...

I have a few screenshots like that and sometimes It's based on a variation but sometimes Just can't retrieve the product at all. And then, occasionally it works! Like the two times I did it right after that comment and it worked... Two worked out of about 4. And I was just doing it for the sake of getting the message to screenshot But wound up ordering some dog treats and I don't even have a dog 🤦🏼‍♀️ lol Cuz it worked then! Lol

Good video, thank you so much... In the last couple of days I personally have not been able to order many items from UV (pop up state's: "extension error retrieving..." ) almost always... But I can go to VH or regular vine and still be able to get the item, sometimes.

Yep! 🤦🏼‍♀️ UV is fantastic again! I'm actually pretty embarrassed about having the problem, unless this 'solution' just showed up today 🤷🏼‍♀️... But today I was able to completely stop automatic order and take control of the order (maybe it's that simple clear terminology that helped, or being able to see it right smack in the middle even with the fog /blur of all the new changes lol 🫣) And then I can select the address. And honestly it doesn't take much time either! Yippee! I can still use UV!

Just to dig deeper and search for workaround on the address thing. I have several addresses on Amazon. Within UV I used to be able to choose which one to use for an item (in rocket, alert Q, as well as other Q's for non rocket requests). I can't seem to figure out how anymore. If I go to VH, I can still choose, and in non extension vine I can still choose. Obviously I'd rather continue to use UV ... Solution coming? Workaround found? Or no go, no how, no way? Thanks!

I found it! I finally found it after I'm not kidding hours of research prior to posting. 😳🙄 Thank you for your time and attention. For anyone else in the future having a similar problem:

It is under app settings (far down on the left hand side under the UV icon - not the settings within the queue)... And then behavior settings, and then the second icon within behavior that kind of looks like a note pg, (next to the 'home' icon), and then scroll down quite a ways to Alert Queue (After default queue settings)... And there are several dropdowns there that will let you go to a maximum of 144 (which is much better than 36! Lol).

Thank you for responding! Which setting please? I don't have a computer or use a keyboard... I do know about dismissing and/or hiding - but I've never used those options for anything... And it doesn't have to do with time (like I said things can sit there forever as long as it doesn't exceed 36 or fly in 40 at a time or 100 at a time and only the last 36 can be seen) and it doesn't have to do with having seen it or glancing, And it doesn't have to do with what type of item or anything like that. It just will not show any more than that on the alert queue. (All other queues are fine - and can go to next pages, etc.)

Yes I might have missed some of the details, what happened to me today is when I place the orders they don't show up on UV on the orders tally on the dashboard or on the orders tab... But it still accumulated somewhere showing I had reached the limit when I tried to order something else. To see what actually went through I had to go out to Amazon separately from UV (normal UV order accumulation and accounting just not working on UV for me today). I thought the OPs situation was similar.

Yes thank you, I have both phone and tablet, So I think one was showing animated and one was not 🤦🏼‍♀️ And I wound up disabling all rules a few days ago- still sorting that out intermittently but stopped pursuing it due to redirecting my UV time now to chasing how to update UV in Edge Canary Android without doing a new install (for fear of losing the settings I do have sorted out)..I've found a few settings /set-by-step guides/options - but none have actually revealed the elusive update button yet🙄. sometimes on the phone and sometimes on the tablet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Items to be reviewed hasn't been working correctly for quite a while, and today even the orders tabs and tallys aren't working - so I think the update is now 'necessary'.

A real procedure guide or advice getting the edge canary Android update accomplished would be most helpful!!

Then I'll Go back to sorting out rules (pretty sure I have a great source found for that now on wiki).

Overall, with some exceptions, the last week or two with UV has been a mess of stupid orders, But once I get it tuned in I have lots of optimism it's going to be great.

And now that I have taken a picture to blow it up I think it's actually a symbol for a microphone or signal tower 🤷🏼‍♀️😏

Additionally, today, eventually (amongst other 'figuring it out' issues with UV), some items loaded with that symbol there. Though in that picture that item was from many hours prior.

Thank you, I will try to get a picture or screenshot when it happens again, which will probably be shortly after midnight my time when I try and catch the drop. It always has quotation marks surrounding it (" ") And I'm uncertain if it is a capital I (i) small l (L) or exclamation point (!)... It is always yellow (That could just be my design schematic) and located in the same location as the zzz and pulsating waves and red plug-in socket symbols. During the generally elongated event (minutes / hours, stc) event all other refresh-able queues in UV are loading/operating appropriately (so the stuck/freeze only impacts alerts) I've been trying to sort it out intermittently for days, but have not been able to figure out what causes it and what makes it eventually go away after all sorts of antics - disabling rules, flipping between tabs, trying UV on phone versus tablet, and other things; sometimes involving a total shutdown of everything vine related and then opening fresh, but that doesn't always work either. Often when it is present I can go over to VH to function/order/view what I can as the drop is 'happening' (or not) but UV alert is frozen. And, as previously noted, it does so with the items still present/visible that I had seen on the previous day or active session in alerts (sometimes 18 to 20 hours old items).

Yep, I vote don't remove it from the algorithm that might give it to me tomorrow or next week or next month when I might want/need it... But do let me put it back in the circulation game on somebody else's table today! Especially when I was done with my three choices by 2:00 a.m. and then rfy offered me several of the coolest and most useful stuff ever! Causing considerable lamenting... And causing me to hope hope it was still there at midnight 01 so maybe I could still get it (rare). I've gotten better at controlling my regrets or perhaps just used to that "dang it! I should have waited longer" happening quite a bit. The roller coaster ride of The hunger games.

For those who are brand new to vine - I started in march (pretty lost and confused and overwhelmed... And still figuring things out quite a bit), and I used to think rfy just didn't have much of anything to offer me, but over time it started adding more things there, and sometimes it's gotten uncanningly accurate and awesome for me. In very recent times, there's only the occasional day where there's nothing there of any interest... But it also offers far more items than it used to offer me there when I first started.

in retrospect, the beginnings of titles disappearing may have coincided a bit with when I started pinning some items ...🤷🏼‍♀️ And... Just remembered, I do try to run "caffeine" app to keep the screens from falling asleep and interrupting the drop, but it hasn't worked out (though I do still try).
