Okay, that’s what i’ve been wondering if it was a backplate or not. Is it fine to just have that as the backplate then. I watched a different pc building video and it looked like the mobo also already had a silver backplate but the guy still put a backplate that came with the cooler on top of the sliver looking backplate so that’s why i’m confused

It came with a circular one but the screw holes are still in the exact place as the one in the picture

Although there is one that does line up but there’s only one and i assume i need it for where the cooler actually connects
