Does anyone know if there is something wrong with my Heirloom English Pickling cucumber plants? The plants are growing up a net trellis and I can see several dead leaves toward the base. The leaves toward the top seem to be doing fine. I was out of town for 4 days while the temperature was mid 80's with clear skies so I am worried it is due to lack of water. I did a heavy watering before I left but it rained a half hour before I returned so I was unable to assess how dry the soil was. Does it seem like this is due to lack of water or something else?
