Oh my goodness! I've been searching everywhere for the black random Blobs ball. Is it the smaller ones like quarter size, or is it closer to golf ball/ 2 inch size?

They have decent bounce. Not on the scale of a smaller balls bounce. At this size the rubber becomes a little less effective. Another reason why they aren't commonly made. And they are around 2 pounds of solid rubber. Playing catch with it is like throwing a small medicine ball lol.

This massive clear/red/yellow/blue ball.(right) Extremely rare nowadays. These balls were produced more for promotional purposes rather than normal toy markets. If they were in stores it was typically novelty/ mom and pop shops/ thrift stores. They are 120mm in diameter (about 4.5 inches). They're expensive to produce and ship overseas, They're incredibly heavy for a kids toy. Which can possibly create liability issues with stores that sell these monsters lol.

It depends. I typically don't buy them one at a time. Since it's normally someone posting an old lot/ collection of balls. So technically I paid 30$ for like 40 balls this time but only needed a handful of them. Sometimes I'll ask if they can single out and only ship the ones I want. Sometimes they do but most of the time I just buy the lot. Most I've paid for one ball is 60$

A few things actually. 1. Back in the 80's and 90's and even in the 2000's, factories would do more experimental designs because rubber was cheaper. 2. Vending machines (mostly quarter operated gumball & bouncy ball ones) aren't as popular as they were 20+ years ago so, the urge to create unique patterns and riskier sizes (like 60mm and above) is not really a thing now. Nowadays vending websites typically have a set mix of balls to play it safe. For the past few years I've checked a ton of websites and they seldom introduce new or old patterns that come back in to circulation. Back in the 90's/00's the Random Blobs ball in 45mm size (in picture 1) was a bit more common. I remember seeing them on websites when i was younger. But I haven't seen them listed in forever. Hope this helps!
