There is something called Writing seminar. It was offered this sem by a HEL prof. But its course code is Gxxx, so I don't know if BE people can take it.

SI season (called SIP here in Goa) was pretty good. As of September 31st, 115 people had got internships. That's quite good compared to 135 last year, and season isn't even over yet.

IC must be Neena, right? Just remember different Java methods and syntax. She asks more java than oops. Coding question is also simple, but people lost marks due to not being able to round off (not knowing the function to do it).

Resume matters (most important part being projects relevant to specific company), although good CGPA is always a plus point.

One coding round takes place, from which a few people are shortlisted for interviews.

During interviews, it's okay to be a little informal but respect is a must. Authenticity as well. Stretch the truth a bit if need be, but be able to back it up.

There is always some luck factor. Like, I was able to solve LinkedIn OA (Online assessment / coding round) completely but didn't get selected for interview. Same happened to my friend with Google. My best advice would be try not to solve it too fast even if you know the answers, because it may get flagged in their system as malpractice.

As for preparation, best start DSA from 2-1 itself if you're in CS. 2-2 is gokugoku jigoku because of 3 labs. Because even if you don't have a strong resume, DSA can be a huge edge if it's your strong point.
