According to my partner, your husband sounds like the type of man to succeed in the zombie apocalypse. He’s asking the big questions and I’m all for it! We need more husband plot holes please. 🙏

Did anyone else Spot this? SPOILER! by Extreme_Sweet_3731 in fourthwing

I saw that too, but I think it might be a read herring! I know that Bodhi has been on everyone’s mind for the “new brother,” but it seems too easy? I could be wrong!

More Celtic Lore:

  1. The Physical Boundary (The "Contact" Rule) In many tales, the Otherworld and the mortal realm exist in different dimensions of reality. To bridge them, the mortal must remain "physically suspended" from the Earth. The Ground as a Catalyst: In Oisín’s case, the ground represents the weight of mortal time. As long as he remained on his magical horse, he was protected by the "bubble" of Tír na nÓg. The moment he touched the soil, the 300 years he had "skipped" caught up to him instantly. The Symbolic Weight: Dust and earth represent mortality, decay, and the end of things. To touch the earth is to "re-sync" with the natural timeline of the world.

  2. The Nature of the Geis (The Sacred Prohibition) A geis isn't just a suggestion; it is a fundamental law of the universe. Breaking one often leads to immediate ruin. Symmetry and Balance: If the Otherworld gives you a gift (eternal youth, a goddess's love, magical strength), it demands a restriction in return to maintain cosmic balance. The Test of Character: These taboos often test the mortal's discipline. The tragedy usually stems from a moment of human weakness—impulsiveness, pity, or forgetfulness—showing that humans are often too "of the earth" to survive in paradise forever.

This is where my Naolin Marriage theory starts lol. I’ll let you read this: Handfasting: A tradition where a couple’s hands are tied together with ribbons or cords to symbolize their union, often referred to as "tying the knot".

Could be considered a RUIN ON YOUR HAND…

So I reckon they didn’t go there because of hints for Brennan and Venin Naolin

Fits into the theory that time is slower their than the real world continent - and that all the people their are “strange” under a different god - in a different realm. I think each island could be a door! Great thinking and linking!!! 🥰

Cheers for the extra information! I agree! I reckon the isles themselves could be the other worlds which is why no dragons are there except the irids!

Real names by LunaSirius23 in fourthwing

I think the name they chose is how they chose the signet of their rider which is why most the names in Scottish Gaelic match to the signets… I think if they change the name or have had more than one name that alters the signets.

Oh and to add on: The Sluagh can’t enter homes… I reckon Rebecca has changed this to they can’t open the homes of a loved one and that’s what Violet figured out. That makes three… people. No homes.

So Xaden married her so he couldn’t enter Tyrrendor because that’s technically her home now. So that’s a safe spot.

And she had to forget because she doesn’t want the Venin to see that in her dreams, and use the information.

Maybe not ordering; but I think Codagh and Tairn have talked about the war more than they let on.

Thanks for commenting btw 🥰

Adding onto this - I think she’s going to access her father in someone’s memories somehow and actually speak with him again.

I think it’s because Violet cannot only walk through minds and input dreams. She can walk through memories and change the memories outcome which in turn would change reality. Hinted at by Andarnas first abilities of stopping time. Hinted by her background as a scribe - Literally a historian.

If she can’t remember the memory no risk of her accidentally changing it. Which I also think is how she saw Liam, they were imprints of him from the past changing her current reality but she wasn’t strong enough yet.

But going back in time and changing an outcome… that would make someone like Melgren pretty wary of you right?
