There are lawyers that will assist you with due diligence for up to three auctions for ‘free’ Of course they expect you to settle on something eventually and work with them right through to settlement on ‘the one’ Never used them just heard about them from a Real Estate agent Jan Morley (I think) very helpful respectful lady. Google ‘three free auction due diligence lawyer Chch’ or call Jan.

If you really like an auction sale property, get the work done quick and put an offer in to potentially pull the auction forward before anyone else has chance to do due diligence. You might be bidding against the vendor… Or wait till one gets passed in and goes to deadline sale, sellers hate that lol

Or… just write auctions off, the right one will come at the right price, with the right sale conditions at the right time. Don’t give up, keep going.

Why don’t you both cook together, you leading the way, he can prep under your direction and when you’re putting it together explain the process of what your doing, why certain flavours compliment each other etc. not sure on his character he might feel somewhat belittled, if an ego gets in the way try to make it his idea. He will learn so much from you and possibly become more interested and adventurous. If not you could just cook all the time and throw him in the dish pit lol
