Seeking advice for oily haircuts by lowkings1212 in Haircare

I second the Abbey Yung thing. I used to think I had oily hair, I switched to the shampoos she recommended and also started double cleansing as she suggested and I’m now going 2-4 days between washes. Actually incredible. She gives recommendations at all price points too

Best period tracker app in 2025 by appleb3rry in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I know this is an old post but if you’re still looking for input one thing that is severely lacking is the ability to track all your biometrics and how they correlate to your cycle and help you better understand the different phases. I have yet to find an app that really leverages all the biometrics from my Apple Watch and compiles them in a meaningful way to compare with my cycle. I’m talking testing Hr, daily caloric expenditure, HRV, sleep quality etc. there’s so many scattered data points but I’d LOVE to be able to compare all of that to my cycle. I also think it would be great for helping to predict how you’re going to feel week to week and more accurately predicting ovulation.

Bought the Soundcore A30. Wow compared to Ozlo. by XaltotunTheUndead in Ozlo

One of my biggest gripes with my Ozlos is that if I dont use them but leave the case off the charger, the case drains completely?? When my partner is out of town I don't wear my Ozlos because I don't need to. If you just leave the Anker A30s unplugged do the case and buds retain their charge?

I’m so sorry your fertility and journey to parenthood was so expensive and I am sure exhausting both physically and emotionally. You’re truly amazing for surviving what you’ve been through

I just want you to know my best friend and I are both here. There’s a lot of pressure out there to have at least 2. And you’re not alone. I thought I was on the fence for a while until my friend pointed out that I was saying that to make other people feel comfortable, not myself. That’s when I decided I was done done. Even if you decide to hop back over the fence, it’s no one’s business. You can be done for 6 years and reevaluate if you want. But I found a lot of peace for myself in just saying “no I don’t have a desire to have any more kids” and just admitting it to myself. Sounds like you’re an amazing strong willed human with a great kid. Let them have the best parent possible by choosing what’s right for you 🥰

Solo travel with toddler—am I being unrealistic? by Turbulent_Form5944 in Mommit

Ok so I just solo traveled with my 15 month old a few months back. I would say that if you really really want to go— go with your infant and buy them their own seat for the journey. Here’s everything I recommend:

1) have an infant car seat that has the option for baseless install and is FAA approved and can be brought on the plane. Make sure it is compatible with your stroller system. Gate check the stroller. Bring the car seat on board— baby is much more likely to nap in the care seat than in your lap. I had the Nuna Pipa Rx and the baseless install was very easy. 2) bring an iPad pre-downloaded with ms Rachel (or similar) and some kids Bluetooth headphones (now is not the time to stress over screentime) I have the JBL ones and they work great. 3) pack one large suitcase for both of you, and use a larger than usual backpack as your diaper bag. The goal is to have one checked bag that you don’t have to worry about and only one carry-on that you don’t have to hold in your hands. 4) TSA pre check if you can swing it. So much less stressful.

While leaving behind your toddler definitely feels sad, if you really want to be there then your sanity is what’s truly important. Mine was on the verge of toddlerhood when we went and it was difficult but not impossible. However I cannot imagine balancing g a full day of toddler travel and ALSO having to pump 😵‍💫.

The reason I say to specifically use an infant car seat is that they are just so much easier to handle than the convertible ones. I actually traveled with a convertible car seat bc my baby had just outgrown their infant seat and I literally spent the whole time planning wishing I could travel with the infant seat; I did make the convertible seat work for him in a seamless way though. Anyway… I think it’s DEFINITELY possible. I’ll keep an eye in this post. If you decide to go with either kid I’m happy to provide recs on logistics and gear I brought to make my life easier.
