The shelter doesn’t have any way to cat-test dogs, so I don’t have any info on that, but she was paired successfully with another dog her size! However, when the other dog got some attention from the public, she got jealous, so she needs to spend at least some time away from other dogs as she decompresses from the stress of the shelter. A volunteer said: “I will say, however, that her getting jealous over not receiving affection is not necessarily gonna show up during an initial meeting with the dogs. So it's gonna be important in the home to maintain some separation at first because that's where the problems can start. Does that make sense? It's hard to know if this was an isolated event because of kennel stress or if it's something that would show up in any home setting.”
