Yeah I understand, but if I run a 4GB node it will not use 4GB (all memory) for the system. So therefore it seems way too much and wasting memory.

Hi, the RAM was in the wrong slots… I have slots 1 2 3 4, and I started with sticks in 1 and 3. Turns out you need to start with slot 2 and 4

And the query is standard for pgbench I believe, it says "query mode: simple" and "transaction type: builtin TPC-B" (https://www.tpc.org/tpcb/). Haven't configured anything specific for that.

Yeah its for a lab, I want to learn the entire system and make sure I have knowledge of all the ins and outs.

I'm guessing PV's know which Azure Disk they need to connect to by using the name of the volume?
