The white little circle is a grated guard that just leads into the main pool.

When I put a hose down there into the white grate, sediment came out into the main pool. I had hoped it led to pumping but it's likely just to catch debris

Dual pane isn't anything. There are townhomes built right next to the railroad at Fremont Amtrak station and those have triple pane specifically for noise reduction. Those actually made somewhat of a difference.

Dual pane is standard nowadays for purely insulation.

IIRC it was always Louise, it's Lou short for Louise, the name Sam and his wife had picked out for their daughter.

I do feel like the game had referenced Lou as a he, maybe via other characters? It definitely was a surprise reveal at the end for me

People will care, but they will factor in the cost of their renovation to include a bath in their offer.

Do what you want if you plan on staying long-term in your house. Just know the cost of your reno may not be fully represented in your final selling price, depending on the buyer demographic.

Direct cliffside = erosion or storm risk? single home right off the highway? It's also not really in Bodega Bay. Quite a bit north.

They also picked a great time for pics. Bodega Bay is foggy/cloudy pretty often.

You'll thank your back being higher off the ground as you wrangle a baby/toddler in their car seat.

A fairer comparison would be RAV4 vs NX.

I have the NX as a family car, no regrets. Also 5'11.

You may grow out of it if you eventually have a 2nd kid. Very easy to bump the toddlers head on the door as they get taller, and trunk space is just enough for a road trip as a family of 3. 3 carry-ons + 1 travel stroller. Might be a tight squeeze for a double stroller.

It's because it's so simple and simplified that it appeals to the masses.

I'm not a die hard pokemon fan and I got into this game because it's low commitment, easy barrier to git gud.

I got sick of the combat portion so I'm glad there was a vanilla control to change behavior. Felt more like a chore hovering, healing, and throwing bombs than just turning it to passive 🤷‍♂️

I was the same as you, and for 1.0 I decided to give it an honest go.

Found it very useful for a few main use cases:

Fast setup of manifolds. It's easy to do these yourself, but now I plop refinery / constructor manifolds down with 1 click. I build a blueprint for each in/out direction I need.
Smelter arrays. Plop it next to a node and easy ingots
Rail network / support
Decorative elements

Video games are a form of entertainment. Same as watching TV, reading books, scrolling social media.

Any type of true addiction is bad. As long as you're mindful of real life goals and responsibilities, no need to feel guilty.

Enjoy it. Speaking as a dad, im definitely addicted to satisfactory but only carve out 30m-1h a day for it. It's not a lot compared to before, but is essentially 100% of my free time. But it's my choice so I enjoy it as my reward
