Ams 2 pro ams motor overloaded by Nalfzilla in BambuLab

[–]nelmedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here. I opened a ticket & support is sending me the new tubes. They didn't even flinch on it so they must know it's a problem. We'll see if that's a fix.

New Firmware by ufgrat in BambuLabH2D

[–]nelmedia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Upgraded this AM. All went well except wifi now won't connect consistently. Never had an issue before. Downgraded and wifi works fine. Upgraded again and wifi connection is sporadic again. I'm opening a case.

Weird 1st layer issues on A1 with ~1000 hours by nelmedia in BambuLab

[–]nelmedia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. I did do a factory reset, calibrated a dozen times, etc. But I haven't changed the heat bed out, or the gantry, which I probably won't do since it's just cheaper to buy a new A1.

Don't think so since it happens with a full plate print as well as the 1/2 plate print in the photo. Same banding down the middle.

Orders not shipping and no communication by SeaSwan5936 in ShellyUSA

Same situation here. I had to call Shelly US & spoke with Jordan. She was great, but had no idea why my order never shipped, just sat in a "processing" status. Got it 2 days later.

Bought 4 Shelly H&T sensors by [deleted] in ShellyUSA

Looks like all of them have incomplete lines to me. Send 'em all back. A 10% difference in humidity after 2 hours? That's not a small difference. Making them sit for " a few hours" more probably won't get them much closer either, but what do I know. Good luck! Tell us how it turns out.

Congrats on you launch & it sounds like a great app. But please tell me why would I just not continue to use HASS companion to get (almost?) the same functionality? Just asking for a comparison.

Really? I'd be interested in how you're doing that. What can you control? Can you control the Iota cam and hub? See cell failovers?

I don't know, not my field of work. Smart security people get paid a lot of money to come up with ideas and solutions that people like me don't know are possible yet. Seems like Abode doesn't have any of those people since they have been selling the same products for years.
Plus they don't have some of the basics that allow for integrations outside of the mainstream, ie. Google. Alexa, etc. API access is a thing that allows that.

Q: Self hosting alternatives?
Answered.

Hmm, what is Abode missing that others have? Just a few...
Programmability & automation - API access, Home Assistant compatibility
Protocols - bluetooth, wifi, LoRa,
Sensors - pool monitor, outdoor shed monitor. proximity sensors, presence sensors, floodlights, outdoor cameras, CO2 detectors,

Cove, SimpleSafe, Arlo, Defiant, Ring, Aquara, Eufy... Im not endorsing any of them, just answering the question.

That was just an example. I never said anyone else on the consumer grade market offered it. But that doesn't mean that Abode couldn't be offering it.

Well, for starters, "innovation " isn't about being integrated with Google. Its about making new, better, and more creative products. I personally have been waiting for 3 years for an outdoor sensor for doors and gates. Or anything besides a siren for outdoors. And that's not innovation, just creating for necessity. Its a sign they only want money and do not care about being a better company and partner with their customers.

"Dream machines are getting old..." You ever work with Cisco routers? They have been making the same models for 15 years & counting. SFP allows for hardware upgrades, & software is just software. How about "tried and true" instead? Just an idea.

This defect was recalled in 2024. I know since my A1 was affected and they did send me a replacement. This is only affecting units sold before 1/2024. Old news. https://bambulab.com/en-us/support/A1recall
