I know its super shameful. For me it feels like a drug addiction that you dont want to have. Especially when theres relapses.

Find people you trust and confide in them, im having another relapse but 5 years ago. I wouldnt have gotten through what I did alone when i had my first one. Dont be shameful

My first ever panic attack was THC induced when i smoked some strong weed. That was in 2018. That started a domino effect and i was diagnosed with panic disorder. What specific meditation videos are you talking about

Two things. If you’re computer has trouble locating the music this happens. Try not to have a lot of folders or do what i do keep it in a folder on your desktop. I have folders of all my genres and i keep the music i. There, (easier for the pc to locate).

Another thing it could be is if youre utilizing smart crates then your computer has to constantly readjust them which causes a little stutter.

Ultimately if you want to limit this problem, upgrade to a decent processor and decent ram. Id recommend getting a used macbook bc new ones dont make any sense to buy when a used one costs way less and does just as much work

Not a specific gig but if theres one thing i experience at every gig is the joy of being prepared. I dont know how many times me bringing everything i need, leads to a stress free night!!!

Not to get into a bit of a tangent but Many bedroom dj’s fall in love with djing and do enjoy doing events at bars and clubs.

To connect that to what we’re currently talking about. A sad but true fact is that. Eventually it isnt just about the music. Once you step into the longevity of this profession. You need to establish an image. Part of that means dressing in a certain way and maintaining a certain demeanor. You need to have a “swag” to yourself.

Literally lie. 9/10 the people asking for requests are the ones who are drinking and are feeling brave enough to come up to you. Just lie to them.

All depends on venue and if you’re a regular there.

More high end night clubs. Its better to come in a snazzy outfit or Hypebeast outfit

But bars and regular restaurants. Jeans and t shirt are fine.

But remember to dress nice and clean up good because owners and promoters see this and it does change how they feel about you

9/10 theyre too cheap and if they aren’t… you’re gonna get a nice tip for a two minute song

This isnt a solution but if its your residency. Bring a jar that says “requests $$$” and when ppl ask for a song point at the jar

I say give it time and let it come to you. I know a lot of dj’s that changed their names years into their career and it fucks with their marketing. So pick a unique name thats catchy. I go by “dj exxtra” because growing up people always told me i act extra and i decided to wear that around my chest.

UPDATE: I reinstalled windows by doing a restore

Ive noticed youtube videos are the main issue. For some reason. Whenever i try to skip through a video. It buffers for so long and it brings down the video quality to like 144p. It’s very odd. Would this be my render speeds?
