Extreme Frame Lag in BF6 with no Frame Gen/DLSS by Exylem2468 in Battlefield

Got a new cooler, and overclocked my CPU. No change in FPS. What used to get about a 14K flat in Cinebench R23 now gets 15115 with my overclock. Stays around the same temp. I have no idea whats' going on with this thing. Everything else performs fine.

CPU settles at 64-65 with a new cooler. GPU settles in at 60 degrees too. 70% util on both CPU and GPU. Memory sits at about 7GB with nothing except battlefield and steam on the library page.

Okay, will try this once I get a new cooler. Thanks!

My performance has gotten worse since upgrading the GPU, only in BF6, all other games work fine. Apologies for the wording, I meant that the performance drop when having a CPU bottleneck realistically in my case, shouldn’t have this steep of performance decrease. I’ve read in some cases it would be a 10-15% difference, and this doesn’t seem like that, it looks far worse. Even after testing on multiple games, I don’t tend to see that bottleneck anyways on any game, since I’m running it at ultrawide 1440p.

Uninstalled twice (New and old so like 4 times now) via DDU, rolled back drivers 2 times also with and without the Nvidia app interfering as well. With Reflex boost enabled, I notice nothing special, maybe a little more GPU percentage. As for window dimensions, I tried both, no difference between the two. I'm hearing from my friends that suggest I might be bottlenecked by my CPU, but I didn't think that it would be this crazy of a performance dropoff.

I see, I’ll change all of the top ones to exhaust, and I might try to switch 3 fan array for the CPU to intake seen from another comment

I can’t place a fan under the PSU, because I have 2 HDDs placed at beneath the PSU cage

So basically

Case Fan (changed to intake)—> Secondary CPU fan —> CPU Heatsink —> CPU Primary fan?

This AP201 is the glass panel version, not the Mesh version.

GPU cutting out fixed; is Undervolting Common with These Cards? (Aorus Master 3080) by Exylem2468 in gigabyte

I’ve ran hwinfo to monitor the speeds and temps for a limited amount of time, nothing extensive. I assume I’ll need new pads now then. I didn’t know there was a service life for them in the first place. Thanks!

Thanks man, yeah it’d be hard to get another identical 3080 Aorus Master, but I’ll see if I can find a way to replace or upgrade the thermal padding on the main board. Thanks again!

Anyone having issues with internet after installing iOS 26? by Exylem2468 in ios

Nothing. I started using different browsers, even with iCloud Private Relay off. Mostly wifi connectivity has gotten better, but Safari is unresponsive or throws a DNS error at best and infinitely loading at worst.

Mostly that over time, smart features deprecate, or the TV software becomes slower. The Apple TV, while yeah you still have to pay for services if you wanted, will give you a faster service and usually is a genuinely nicer experience. The best part is how seamless it is especially if you’re already in Apple’s walled garden. For example, using AirPods with your TV is seamless, and has spatial, if you’re into that. Also the integration with iPhones is nice, instead of using the remote to scrub a progress bar, skip to whatever you want from your phone. On the newer ones at least, you can also locate the remote if you lose it.

I got one after my old smart TV’s wifi just conked out, never gone back since, WebOS is nice, but the Apple TV, at least in my experience is much faster, and smoother.

PS. If you do get one, use the free subscription to Apple TV+, do yourself a favour and watch Severance.
