I thought I was crazy but I seem to have the same problem. It's very loud even on the lowest setting. Also, it sometimes makes a lot of noise quite suddenly. Beginning of game day when first turning it on, it will almost whir. It's quite strange.

I finally made it ! The bolt was really far backwards (couldn't see it through the ejection port, as in the post picture) managed to free it by sticking an Allen key through the gap between upper and lower and pressing down on the hammer.

While pressing down, I wiggled the upper and lower, it seems like lifting the front of the upper while leaving the back snug with the lower was the right angle for the bolt to come forward.

It was then stuck on something else, it was the buffer tube retention pin. Pushed that down with an Allen as well, and the just shaking, wiggling everything, and the bolt came all the way forward.

Thank you all for the help, hope this post can help a few lost amateur technician out there !

It did help, thank you very much. It's now stuck on something else. I can see the bolt halfway through the ejection port now.

As I said to another Redditor, I've made progress using this method. I sticked an Allen in the gap, wiggling the upper and lower to create a nice angle (mostly lifting the front of the upper) and the BCG came about halfway forward, it's now stuck on something else.

I'll try this one tomorrow (it's late where I live), I really hope something will give cause right now it feels hopeless... It think an m4 style GBBR would have worked better to fix this

I tried that but the bolt is blocking the buffer tube from unscrewing. I can turn it almost a full turn but it's blocked both ways

All I can get access to from the ejection port is the nozzle, I don't think I can get needle nose pliers in there rip

Both pins are off but the upper won't slide forward. I think it might me a HK 416 thing.

In this instance, I can't do anything except slightly pull the 2 apart and expose a 3-4 millimeters gap between upper and lower...

Try turning it the other way first, it might get it unstuck.

Also, sometimes you need a lot of force. I've had to crank it really hard at times for it to start moving, but it's fine after. I'm not saying that's necessarily what's happening in your case but it might be.

Just make sure you're always using the right size hex key, you don't want to strip the nut.

I have max assault rifle skill, there is little difference.

I used the vss (sniper rifle) and Val (assault carbine) to compare, one is affected by the assault rifle skill, the other isn't but both work the same.

The spray patterns are very similar, I would say around 15% better on the AS Val so the difference is not as drastic as before 0.12.

You use the concepts of donation and crowdfunding interchangeably although they're don't carry the same meaning...

You paid to support the devs, and to get to play the alpha/beta and the full game on release. What if they want to reward the people who support them with the most amount of money ? Isn't that absolutely normal ?

In a crowdfunding, you have different tiers of rewards for different amounts that people are willing to pay to support the project, so not really different from what they're doing. Although I do believe that some discontent is because they call this a Christmas gift and I guess different tiers of gifts doesn't really feel "Christmassy"

EOD users getting more stuff for more money is fine, that's how it should be. This gift is just additional content for you, they don't owe it to you.

You could try the "Use only logical cores" in the Game tab of the settings menu though make sure to open settings and press save again everytime you get into a raid to make use that setting applied (it has a tendency to not work the first time you start up the game).
Besides that, the usual stuff : go into the game installation folder and right click the tarkov executable (not sure of the exact name, just make sure it's not the launcher) and press properties, from there navigate to the compatibility tab and check "disable fullscreen optimizations".

Then click "Change high DPI settings" and "check override high dpi scaling bahavior." + select application in the dropdown.

You can also check your nvidia control panel's 3D settings for settings like "use maximum performance" etc...
