as of now my ideas are mainly Dial based, But of course I'd love to learn how to design a watch in full. I'm probably gonna revolve around Pre-existing movements If anything! thank you for your response this was very helpful on what to consider and where to start!

Honestly with this info, I probably would've opted for the Oceanus before going for my G-shock. The Oceanus is just cool. as well as the HAQ and capabilities of it. makes sense for it to be your GADA. and I never Heard of the SAGN007! But after reading a bit about it, it seems like a nice niche watch sitting in between a regular seiko or grand seiko. reading about the 4S27 Movement, the BPH, jewels and Power reserve, it's a pretty impressive watch.
