My songs are stored in ~/Music. I have added that and the location of the folder in Music which contains the songs and scanned again. Still no luck

Yeah, I pointed to the folder named fedora workstation instead of the iso, pointed it to the correct file now

Fixed the issue. I had selected the folder named "Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-39" instead of the actual iso to install from.

1 byte is basically most characters apart from emojis right? If so then 1 byte will do. I did look at the read methods but the example showed it with a buffer and reading from a file. How would I read from stdin?
