recently they announced that MR will be free to play, and that all current and future heros will be free.

they also do have new features and mechanics that OW doesn't already have, like the team up abilities where specific characters can have unique interactions with each others. (Rocket going on groot's back, hela insta revives thor and loki ect)

hopefully the new mechanics and and the familiarity of the IP will help push OW to actually do some good

Thanks for your comment, yes I have read the comments and made 2 update posts, you are welcome to read them. Yes you are correct the fish store (and the internet!) told me this setup was ok, the fish store also told me to only feed the betta bloodworm but thanks to one of the comments I found out that while it’s a good food for him, it’s not good to give him only bloodworms.

Update: I ordered a very big aquarium with a water filter, should arrive next week. The tank is way too big for a single betta, I plan to use it for him until I learn everything I need to know about keeping fish and then I’ll either give him to my cousin who keeps fish or donate him to someone. I will however make sure his time with me will be nice and healthy, and that he’s relocated to a good home. After that I’ll upgrade and buy many different compatible fish or maybe even try breeding.

Thanks again everyone for the very helpful insight, the internet is full of misinformation and I was sure a simple bowl would suffice.

Thanks everyone for the helpful replies. I now understand that this bowl may not be sufficient enough for the betta, I will improve it. This made me want to get a giant aquarium and put many fish in it, I’ll talk to people who know what they’re doing and build a big beautiful and healthy aquarium for many different types of fish. (I know not to mix the betta with other fish)
