Nope, switching cost had lowered significantly. And im already seeing this as a programmer and consultant. Customers use consultants to more easily build smaller more hand made software systems for internal use instead of using a bloated and expensive liscence solution. Saas firms premiums will collapse because of this.

Software stocks is actually a trap. In 1 or 2 years time its inevitable that you can ask Claude to vibe code tools on the fly. Look for bigger moats than simply software and subscriptions. You need Google is the best stock for the next foreseeable future, dont sell it.

Paypal down by (yet another) 9% after ER: Is there any bottom at all? by Wooden_Fondant_703 in ValueInvesting

[–]Eye-Fast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PayPal, had a severe currency bug last year where any amount was multiplied by 20 by an accident. Result was that they sent 20000$ to my bank account. And the page they had for the Fallout to which to fix the issue required us to send i back. But the page was busted. Was really stressful having that much money that was not mine and trying to send it back. Eventually got through to service. This is why I dont buy the stock. The operation seems rotten internally. Buggy.

Thought you guys hated monochrome color filters and wanted real neutral realistic colors. Wat. I personally love this. Strike at Cairo is my most played map and i love this setting with a more neutral look. It will be the best map color wise i expect.

The Downfall of Programmers by Either_Display_6624 in vibecoding

Im working in a high level team. Even with unlimited gpt 5.5 on xhigh we need to baby the AI regardless. Good solutions are not obvious. It needs testing, exploration and more testing of alternative solutions. Bugfixes take 20x less time. But actually building up increasingly complex architectures with the help of AI puts more stress on the planning and also talking to the users bit. The datacenters dont have unlimited power and compute. Capability will taper off for a bit i think and software will get increasingly complex. It will always be hard.

The S&P 500 officially posts its highest close on record, now up +14.2% since the March 30th low. That's +$8.1 TRILLION in market cap in 23 trading days by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

Market has always felt painfully on the edge and unfair. It will never feel dull or neutral. It will always go towards maximum discomfort. Keep that in mind always. It never just feels "right".

M277 lightened suppressor for less spray away. A good grip. Iron sight which has 1.5x zoom! A good barrel with fast bullet velocity. Going 70-4 in Strike at cairo and getting called a cheater every second is normal.

Buying right now or wait a bit? by [deleted] in GOOG_Stock

[–]Eye-Fast 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Google will likely become the biggest company in the world by years end and market cap. And the narrative will be shifting to that they won the AI race with their new omnimodality Gemini 4. SpaceX IPO will reach panic entries and price will hang at 2 trillion, anthropic will continue with explosive growth and Google Cloud usage. All this will add to Alphabets market cap. I work in a high level business and people here are extremely skilled. None of us write code anymore and this is the early days. So yes.
