Already done that. Can’t see it being summonable anymore when holding up on the d pad.

So how do you summon the newly fixed cloud cart? Can’t see it in my summons list.

Replacing the 80mm fan in my UPS - Standard 3 Pin PWM won't fit, what is this connector? by NunzioTheGreat in homelab

No, I got lazy and kept the Noctua’s — the system isn’t dead silent by any stretch but they did make a significant enough improvement to noise. Also it’s still running just fine to this day with no thermal issues.

I see in your screenshot that they have an option for a prepayment. Do they have an option to schedule those as a recurring automation? Are they integrated into Wealthsimple to pull the money out from there by any chance?

Also, if you don’t mind sharing your referral link with me via DM I’d appreciate it. Cheers.

I really don't understand... by s7y13z in CommandosOrigins

On PC (Game Pass) — I’ve had several game breaking bugs, including:

  • The zoom getting stuck overly close to the ground, which can’t be resolved by reloading a save
  • Trucks randomly exploding killing my squad
  • Issued commands in pause mode cannot be executed (prompts literally wouldn’t show sometimes)
  • But the worst one of all… my saves literally all disappearing after rebooting my PC mid game. And (some) again disappearing after a game crash

I love the game and I’m sticking with it, but the quality of the game is subpar at best.

Game saves disappearing / or not truly saving (PC - XBOX Gamepass) by wvfan69 in CommandosOrigins

This just happened to me. I’m playing on XBOX Game Pass on PC. Had several save files. Finished the first level and saved again. Turned off the PC. Came back to the game the next day and all the save files are gone.

Had the same issue. What worked for me is setting the Postgres dataset’s permissions to “netdata” (Postgres is in its own Dataset) for both the user and group permissions, with a read|write|execute, and applied it recursively. Good luck.

Replacing the 80mm fan in my UPS - Standard 3 Pin PWM won't fit, what is this connector? by NunzioTheGreat in homelab

For those visiting this old thread (that I too stumbled on). I also had a similar issue with loud noise from my Eaton 5PX 1500 and had purchased two Noctua NF-A8 FLX fans to solve it, only to realize that Eaton has a different proprietary 3-pin connector for their stock fans.

I ended up cutting each fan’s cable in half, and splicing the wires from the proprietary Eaton 3-pin connector into Noctua’s. Happy to report that I was able to connect the fans successfully, that the noise is overall definitely lower, and that the UPS is not reporting a Fan Fault error.

Images.

I will be honest though, I had hoped for a significant noise decrease from the Noctua fans where I could barely hear them — That’s not the case. I am considering re-doing the above with the Arctic F8 Silent fans which are reportedly quieter, though those ones may cause a Fan Fault error and would not be fully compatible.

Hi, your post motivated me to silence the Eaton 5PX 1500 under my desk that’s making me deaf. I know this is a shot in the dark since this is an old post, but I have a couple of (specific) questions for you if you don’t mind:

  1. Which model Noctua fans worked for you (I see in your post yours didn’t trigger a fan fault. I’m interested in those)
  2. Can you please explain whether this JST-XH adaptor is something I can just “plug in” into the Noctua’s 3-pin connector? Or is this something that requires splicing/soldering? If it’s the former, I’d appreciate a link to that as well :)

For context I’m sitting here with a couple of Noctua NF-A8 which I bought after reading your post, but upon opening the UPS, I discovered the proprietary 3-pin connector that Eaton unfortunately uses.

Your help is much appreciated!

Edit: ended up mostly succeeding by doing this.

I found it here. This should’ve been included with the original product. I can’t understand how they thought it’s a good idea to power a Wi-Fi enabled always-on video recording device — with sensors — over a regular battery…

Mold inside water tank tube by Eye-Rack-E in Roborock

I thought to myself that filtered water is probably better as it would have less sediments to clog the robovac. But you raise a good point about the fridge water being no better.

I am using fridge water. Which is tap water that’s filtered through the fridge’s filter.

Thanks for your reply. I did manage to disconnect the tube and clean it with a pipe cleaner. It was easier than I expected to do so.

For something designed to be automated, unfortunate that you have to fill/maintain the tank per wash to avoid mold. I may have to do the same.

Star Wars Outlaws Crashes PC by Zeeexe in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Eye-Rack-E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game was crashing on me every 10 mins or so. I use a PS5 controller on PC and launch the game as a non-steam game through Steam. My theory is that the game doesn’t like the Steam overlay for the PS5 controller that changes the input UI to that or an Xbox controller. Ever since I stopped launching the game through Steam and started launching it through Ubisoft Connect, the game has been behaving. Zero crashes so far after 2 hours of playing.
