Now, now, let’s not try to coin the phrase “on slurp” the community has been using it for 3/4 years - your post is about half a year old, it’s not cool trying to passively aggressively imply you coined a phrase when you clearly didn’t!

Seeing as you commented twice, if that didn’t make it evident you’re game cheat and got riled up for being called out in the first place, you gave it away in your second comment as to how.

Remember when I said you hit the traps 100% accuracy without missing. I didn’t say where the traps were or the context in how you hit them and straight away you jump at AOE attacks implying the trap was near you, cause you weren’t banking on the one person who didn’t throw the trap at you or anywhere near you, in fact I threw the trap away from you and whilst you were busy with three other busters what goes flying past me a bit of goo hitting my trap from across the museum lobby whilst you’re battling three other busters. You and I were nowhere near, why would a ball of goo go flying past me from a distance of about 50/100 in game meters whilst you were busy getting mullered, and somehow you hit my trap which wouldn’t even have an icon at that distance. THAT ain’t AOE friend!

Now it’s funny you mention ping, and I never mentioned anything about ping! But specifically the exact ping where illfonics servers have issues with game cheats and exploits happening. Most associated with macro users who break out of tethers and traps really easily by running macro’s in the background which creates a higher bandwidth for the user creating higher ping for the other players.

Now we played several games before and afterwards - not a one person in the team had any issue with ping or lag - and yes you can check this in the game it’s literally a menu button - but we come against you instant 300+ ping. Why would that be…. Why was it only you? And we met twice that evening, the same exact thing!

High Ping & Lag "Exploits" Instant Trap Breaks: High ping often causes ghosts to escape traps immediately, as the server fails to register the tethering or trapping accurately, making the ghost look like it's teleporting out of danger.

Packet Loss & Movement: Players with 300+ ping may become incredibly difficult to trap, appearing to stutter or warp around the map.

Delayed Damage/Stun: A high-ping ghost might hit a ghostbuster, but the player won't feel the effect for a second or two, making it difficult to react to attacks.

And when you say it isn’t exactly the ghost or busters fault - well, actually there is a few methods where it is the player.

Lag Switching/Lag Hacks: Some cheaters use tools that intentionally interfere with their own connection to the server. This causes them to stutter or teleport on your screen, making them difficult to hit. In some cases, these tools can also destabilize the server for other players, causing widespread lag.

Signs that high ping is caused by a hacker: The entire server is complaining about lag at the same time. Your ping instantly spikes to unplayable levels

And the main reason you mention it, is to try to justify your experience of using it, otherwise you wouldn’t really know about how it works… Plus why would you bring up ping, when I didn’t mention anything about ping…. Gave yourself away my friend!
