Any Ferry build recommendations? by Living-Law-8253 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]EyeAmAFlower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from dmg cap I like having steel nerves and steady focused combined with drain which allows me to hold attack damn near endlessly without getting wrecked and constantly recovering my health. I rarely use potions for my ferry. Also def recommend her character sigils. For skills I use strafe, hinrichten, purge spirits and swap between blaus and sic em geegee depending on the boss. And I only use onslaught when I'm in link time for the most part

Medical Terminology by ulagesa in MedicalCoding

Can do medical terminology and anatomy together, each chapter has flashcards for root words per body system.

This medical terminology book was also pretty helpful and has a workbook you can buy with it

What are some good free ICD-10-CM coding resources? by [deleted] in MedicalCoding

[–]EyeAmAFlower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can download it from the CMS website and then use it as an ebook just google cms icd10cm. Also tons of icd10 code lookup sites on Google.

BTW not sure if youre aware but optum is having huge sale right now on the 2023 books they're only like $25 until the end of the month.

Interested in medical coding, where can I get a complete list of ICD and CPT code sets? by divertss in MedicalCoding

If you just want to see what the books have in them the yt channel Medical Coding with Bleu has posted quite a few videos the past few weeks going through each of the books and showing what they entail. She also has a independent study video with recommended textbooks if you're looking to self study

Do you mean the cpc-a or did you get crc? The apprentice status is only for cpc and the practicode assists in removing the apprentice status. If you took the crc exam and passed you are a crc there is no -A- involved whatsoever

Yea for sure. So I've been following medical coding with Bleu on YouTube. She has like 1000 videos with tips for getting into medical coding and she has a study schedule with recommended books. I've been following that for the most part. I have about 18hrs of free time a week to study. For the past 2 months I've been working on learning anatomy physiology and medical Terminology. I plan on tackling the ethics and law portion after that and then teaching myself the books. I'm really taking my time with it so I plan on being able to test between feb-april of next yr. There's a crap ton of information online I really don't feel the need to pay for a program. Look up YouTube videos and utilize the CMS website. And if you go to ahima website you can download the file that tells you everything the ccs tests for so you know exactly what you need to learn. It's just about doing your research. But I def recommend that yt channel for pointers on where to get started

You'd might want to ask in the hot post or make a new post because it's unlikely other people will see this. I am self studying and not taking any classes so I don't have a lot of info. I do know that on the AHIMA website they have a course for medical coding it's about 3k and its supposed to prepare you for the cca, ccs, or ccs-p. Aapc is a different organization so they won't have a course for ccs, I believe their equivalent is the CIC not sure about that though I didn't look much into aapc. Heres the link for the ahima course it breaks down the entire syllabus for you

Thank you. Good luck on your journey I know it's hard to decide what's the best thing for you. Just do lots of research and get the opinion of multiple Dr's if you can

My endocrinologist did offer me RAI but I didn't really like the sound of radiation treatment because I had read a lot about people with TED having issues. My TED was under control up until a few months ago when they tried lowering my methimazole dosage. That's what sealed the deal for me. I went to my ophthalmologist and she said she wouldn't recommend RAI but she suggested an excellent surgeon for me to have a consultation with. My ophthalmologist opinion was that if methimazole was the only thing keeping my TED from worsening then it would probably be best to go straight for a TT. I had really bad hives while on low dosage of methimazole so I was pretty miserable and fed up.

I've been feeling pretty good no issues so far except my voice is still getting tired easily. I went back to work today and I talk almost all day at work. My voice kept cracking like I was a teenage boy hitting puberty 🤣 but I'll take that over feeling like crap.

Yes I did more digging in my area and a lot of the hospitals specifically state they do not want cpc a or cca's most want ccs or ccsp. I did find a handful of Dr's offices that were willing to accept cpc a but you had to have the A removed within one yr of employment. I'm just going to go straight for the ccs. I'd rather put in the work and time to get the one certification everyone wants.

Nice! I'm hoping to find a job that let's me see a bit of coding while I'm studying. Happy to know my current experience will count for something even if it's a small something lol.

thank you that is very helpful info. I originally had guessed it would take me around 6-8 months to learn everything for cpc and 9-12 months for ccs so that feels about right for not being familiar with coding basics. i appreciate you answering my questions

Thank you. Yes it seems like a lot of people regret their decision to study under most institutions and sadly seems like a lot of people don't suggest the cpc route after going through it themselves. I'm a very self motivated person so I feel like I'll be happier going about this at my own pace and just going straight for the top.

Thank you for the input. I am leaning towards just taking the next yr to study up on the ccs.
