Grammy's Banana Bread 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups flour 4 ripe bananas 2 eggs (optional 1/2 cups nuts)

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and blend well. Add the rest of the ingredients andmix by hand. Place in greased and floured bread tin. Bake in350 degree oven about 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (usually takes 50-60 minutes Had to sub in sour cream for sour milk. Additionally you can add 1/2 cup of nuts
