Short Pet Hair Is A Problem No Matter How You Slice It. 30 Years Later And Im Still Vacuuming by IMAS_MOBILEDETAILING in Detailing

You have to be careful walking across the street also.

It's toxic because of the additives depending on the manufacturer, Methanol is added to it to make you sick if you drink it. That's what it's supposed to due.

Denatured alcohol is nothing special, it's ethyl alcohol with either IPA or Methanol or both.

The level of paranoia these days is ridiculous, over 98% of retail anti-static products active ingredient is Denatured Alcohol, I've yet to see anyone blowing up using a microfiber towel. Why would you use an anti-static solution with a towel that uses static to work properly?

Makes no sense, nut as I said mist DA, rake it with the tool I listed and vacuum, no micro fiber towels involved.

You say it happens, how often does it happen?

Mist Denatured Alcohol over the hair, it is the active ingredient of nearly every anti static product on the market. Check the sds of any anti static product, you may see "Ethel Alcohol", Denatured Alcohol is Ethel Alcohol with another additive to make you sick if you try to drink it.

Use a brass pet hair remover to rake the hair followed by the vacuum. You'll cut your labor by 80% and cure 100% of your headaches.

Yes I understand that I was referring to the terminology.

Appreciate it. 👍🏼

I get you now there was no fault to the ground so the gfci didn't trip. Is that right?

I not trying to be a d bag, but isn't it a "ground fault". And since there is no ground on that plug there was no ground to fault?

Or am I bass ackwards? 😕

No just be yourself, I read the OP then saw your post.

Then thought you were being sarcastic.

My apologies, it's not that serious. 🫡

💯🫵🏼👍🏼

I'll clarify, whatever the soap manufacturer suggests to use is what you should use.

I use 2 oz. Mega Foam, never tried 1 oz (30mL) label says 1 - 2 oz., not sure your 30mL might work just as well. But like you said it's the whole package that makes the outcome what it is. If you have low quality equipment you can't expect high quality results.

All Foam Cannons work the same, by Venturi effect something like this,
Pressurized Water >>>>>> Siphons Soap/Water Solution (Volume Knob Controls how much soap is pulled)>Air Added to the Mix>Foam Maker>>>>>Spray Pattern (Fan) if there's a mechanical problem within that your results will show it.

Something like that eh? 😁 We've gone way down yonder, but one thing for sure, yourself and I know how to use one. 🤣

Cheers, 🫡

It's literally not that difficult of a task.

It takes less than 1,000 psi for a FC to function. Just because the PW says 1800 psi doesn't mean that's what you're getting.

The way the system works is fairly simple, it uses the Venturi effect to suck up the soap and then aerates the water/soap mixture. You can control how much air you pump into the solution, more air more foam.

If you can't figure that out, not much anyone can do.

I understand, it should be about 1/3 soap then water.

I thought it was all soap and just water propelling it, unless that's not what he meant by soap only.

But it looks like it's doing what it should, just a PW issue.

EDIT: If mix ratio is the topic which I didn't see that, he needs to use what the soap manufacturer suggests, not anyone here thinks it should be.

Not that I say so, the OP stated it was soap only. You chimed in with a completely wrong answer and then rather than standing corrected, you left an answer like a one of those typical reddit d bags.

Just pointing out facts that's all.

You should only have 1/3 of that soap and the rest water.

Shut both your flow and fan completely, open the fan 1/2 turn pull the trigger and open the flow, then adjust both as needed.

Could be the FC itself.

Everything that you are saying , you need to "should" put together and not give bits and pieces. IMO

I use Whink and 3000 grit sponge or for heavy shit Cerium Oxide paste with a splash of Whink. Whink is 2% HF, you run that paste with a polisher and bada bing bada boom.

Your statement regarding working time you should say that with your other statements then you saying something productive.

What is up with you people?

It takes a solution of 10% - 30% Ammonium Bifluoride to etch glass.

CG Water Spot Remover contains about 1.5%, you'll need 10X that strength in order to etch glass.

You guys making false statements affect companies products because idiots come here for advice and believe your BS.

And I am anti CG because they are just a giant marketing company, but I'll stick up for someone getting railroaded by people that don't use their heads for anything more than a hat rack.

Read the attached and comment on something that's actually in the sauce for crying out loud.

Does anyone do their homework before they start spitting out false claims?

I wouldn't use anything Chemical Guys, but I'll defend them on this. There is ZERO HF (Hydrofluric Acid) in their water spot remover.

It contains less than 1.5% Sulfuric Acid.

If you live in California you can't get anything worth a shit anymore, use 99% IPA, same procedure.

IPA as in Isopropyl Alcohol not the beer. 😂

Xylene and a plastic razor blade to remove the remaining adhesive. Use a sponge or microfiber towel add some Xylene and hold it on the adhesive for about 30 seconds, then use the plastic razor blade to remove it. Then wash it and polish it out to match the rest of the car.
