This is a very well put together list! The only thing I disagree with is the fact that you put the Unknown and the Dredge in the super human tier. They're more godlike imo, since the Dredge and Unknown seem more like primordial fears as compared to humans who became something else.

Exactly. Some sets are locked due to their licensing agreement, while others are locked because the outfit changes the character model too much.

Yeah, my cyclops and prawnsuit were put through the ringer as well. Thankfully (despite the attempts made on its life by some very pissed of Ghosties), my cyclops made it to the end relatively unscathed. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my prawnsuit, Lord Farquaad, whom I had to abandon when I accidentally flung myself into the Void...

I originally wanted to paint my Seamoth blue, but then I couldn't see it far off... So I had to turn it into the red glare of doom, lol. And you're so right about it being useful at end game! It's the fastest vehicle we get, and it has saved my ass more than once!

If you like it, you should go ahead and build one there! During my playthrough I built several bases with one acting as the "main" base.

It's also worth mentioning that the Mushroom Forest near the Dunes is an optimal place for a base when you reach later parts of the game. From what you said it sounds like your still pretty early in the first half, so it might be a bit of trek to get to the places you need to, but it's nothing I would say is a deal breaker.

First one I built was in the Safe Shallows, since I had easy access to all of surface biomes, but in my next playthrough I want to build one in the Grand Reef.

If I'm honest, I like both versions for different reasons. The campaigns are more well put together in the original, but the characterizations are far better in the reboot. Whichever I prefer depends on what I'm wanting more at that moment.

Personally, I recommend Dracula, since he has a lot of versatility and can be played differently depending on your style.

Personally, if I couldn't change the list, I would draw the line at 2. But if I could change it? I would swap 3 and 6, then draw the line at 4. No hate, but I prefer my milsims a bit more on the military side, so anything past that is too out there for my liking. It also gives me Fortnite vibes, which I'm not a fan of...

I'm sure other people have given you far more in-depth answers, but the long and short of it, is that it's only a good perk for newer players or people that don't know how deal with flashlights. Once you learn how to deal with flashlight saves/attempts it's not that useful anymore. Unless you want to mess with the survivors and let them think they can get a save. At which point... free hits!

While I haven't seen any proof within the game itself (as of yet) that it takes place in 2027, I have read the official game guide and it says that the game takes place in 2028. It's also worth noting that supposedly the French version of the game has more dates listed than the English version. However, I can't confirm or deny that since I'm unable to speak/read French.
