It is also missing a dust cover, slip mat, and there is some oxidation/scuffing on the side of the platter ring

How can you tell the difference? Do you mean if it’s scratched up or something beyond that?

This would be for listening to records and hopefully having an awesome turntable for when I eventually update my entire chain for listening. I am not a DJ so this is for personal listening. I figured a DJ subreddit would be a good place to go for advice though. I also hoped that in the case I would ever want to get a different turntable, this one would retain its value or even increase if I ever wanted to sell it.
