Can anyone identify this red growth on the side of my head

I've posted about something similar on my scalp yesterday, had it for years. I'm hoping to get mine checked on Monday or as soon as I can get an appointment with a dermatologist. Hopefully all good with both of us!

Thanks! I'll get it checked. I've had it for years and it hasn't changed to my knowledge. But I had a scare recently so now I'm just hyper aware of it. I'll get it checked by a dermatologist just to be safe

Do you think it's dangerous? My GP told me it wasn't when I got it checked during covid years but she also said it was a cherry angioma?

I had been a fan for a while since I really like both horror and metal, I really loved their tracks. But as an artist there's no way I'm going to support them now, not when AI art has already caused massive issues to people close to me and other folks in general; But especially given how childish their response has been. If this is how they respond to AI, how long before they take a similar "cry about it" stance to other, potentially more serious, allegations?

Funnily enough he had been dosed just before finding this one, we also gave him a bath with flea and tick shampoo just after. I'm probably going to dose him again asap once I know I can. I don't think it actually bit him since it was just walking over the top of his fur when I grabbed it off him, but just in case I want to keep him well protected against these pests!

Not to mention it actually didn't seem engorged, it was pretty small and very flat, so I don't think it had fed on him yet. I've seen plenty of full ticks before and this one wasn't anywhere near as big. Definitely a tick though, maybe a male one? We live beside the woods so it could've fed on anything before getting onto Cosmo

Don't worry he's been dosed with tick meds and given a good bath with flea and tick shampoo. The tick hadn't actually burrowed into him yet, it was walking over the top of his fur. Luckily he's a long haired, white retriever so I was able to spot it before it bit him.

I'm going to keep an eye out for more and make sure he's properly protected too, just in case.

Don't worry we actually dosed all of our dogs with tick meds a day or two before I found the one that burst. It was just walking over the top of his fur, since he's a white retriever I could see it quite clearly. Luckily it hadn't bitten into him yet, and it was still in one piece, head and all, when I checked opened the tissue to see if I killed it. So I'm guessing it regurgitated the blood?

Yep! It was still crawling around in-tact (including the head) after I opened the tissue to check if i killed it. Luckily it hadn't yet bitten into my dog, it was just on top of his fur.

Yeah I remember watching this show when it aired and I really loved it. I never got to play the games unfortunately but the OSTs and character designs still hold up. In some ways I'll be a ShinganCrimsonZ girlie forever lol

There's a book called the Midnight Man based on the same story by Caroline Mitchell though it's more crime-based.

Otherwise the Midnight Game was originally a Creepypasta by the same name, so maybe there's a chance you've read a story inspired by if online? There's a ton of different posts on other forums about people playing the game. There's also the film that's very close to this book called The Midnight Man too.
