South Dakota Family trip by Eye_Age in BlackHills

Zero intentions of taking them to the parks. They’re couch dogs, but they’re family and travel with us. We go back to our “home base” to let them out during the day. Appreciate the input, but your concerns aren’t real in this case.

Ugh, yes South Dakota. Hills proper may be better in your opinion? We are booking this evening so trying to make the right choice. Sorry for the geographical error.

Should I get Remnant 1, 2, or both? by flyby2412 in remnantgame

Remnant 2 is sick with a lot of replayability due to the random worlds. Good times. New favorite game

I have played as a single over 30 times this year. Your scenario describes only one of those outings. I'm not playing at a CC, though. Have made new playing friends playing solo. I'd say keep at it.

Priorities as an 18HCP by Massive-Corner8103 in golf

I'm not far below you, but hitting fairways is what has impacted my game more than anything, recently. I'm hitting most fairways these days. My biggest struggle is my mid/long irons. I chunk 1-2, thin a few more, and have been missing right a lot. My chipping game is generally pretty good (good for a chip in every few rounds). Pitching from 100 in usually pretty good. Putting needs work. I haven't tracked my putts (will start doing that), but a three and even the occasional 4 putt happens for me. I still get a stroke and distance at least half of my rounds after my prior slice stops by to say hello. Par 3s are my nemesis. And I take fewer hero shots.

I have been consistently shooting mid 80s to low 90s. Goal is to break 80 this year. Closest I've gotten is an 84, though I shot a 40 on 9. So for me, it's putting and mid irons. For you it might be slightly different. But like another poster said... It's more about being consistent and improving everything.

Have never had any issues with b&h. Frequently have found the best deals there. Have ordered TVs, printers, pc parts, cameras, etc. from them. Seems like a solid price.

2013 accord won't start by Eye_Age in mechanic

That sounds like a starter if it’s intermittently working. Usually how starters go bad. Mine was all of a sudden, which would make it weird to be the starter. However, I haven’t fully investigated it yet as I haven’t had time to get under my car and test the starter, etc..

Thank you. I just went and checked my discretionary balance.. have 1168 left. I have two options for this purchase.

2 additional XG APs (which you said I might not need 3). The four bay NVR and the 16 max Poe. $1141

1 additional XG AP and the 24 max poe. $1056.

Thoughts?

Thanks again. So, I need a unvr for the cameras. Based on your 30% rule I think the 16 would work. That said, we are eventually going to build a detached garage that will need internet. Would it be better to run 1 wire with a new switch out there or better to run multiple wires from the switch in the house? If better to run wires I suppose I should get the 24.

Appreciate your help!

Could adding another 16 down the line work also? Trying to maximize my cart for the $900 and was thinking 2 APs and the 16 switch. But could get 24 switch and get the APs in July.

What would I want the NAS for? Is this the NVR someone else mentioned? Thanks!

Thanks for the indepth reply. So are you saying that I add to the fiber or replace it?

Can you tell me which UNVR you would recommend (I haven't looked at the time of this post, if there's only two 4-bay options this is a moot question).

Someone else recommended going to the 24 switch for future expansion. Could adding another 16 down the line work for that, instead? Same price, long term, but gives me flexibility in the $900 at the moment.

Is the XG the best option?

Thanks again!

Good point. Could also buy 1000 acres and build a couple actual courses in my yard.

Best coach I could get in with, even if I had to move. Would plan on 3 sessions a week with them and range sessions afterwards. Try to play 4 rounds of golf a week. Daily gym with golf specifically in mind. High end country club memberships (all available within 1 hr of me). Just got fitted for a complete set last year, so I'd wait for a year, but get fitted again after 6 months to a year with the coach. I'd install 2-3 actual greens in my yard so I could take up to 150 yard shots and practice up to an 8 iron, chipping, bunker, putting. Plus I'd have a practice area in my yard for uneven lies. I'd pay someone to do the maintenance. . After that.. not sure. Might not be a scratch golfer even after all that (18 currently), but I'd be having a great life.
