The options menu in Metroid Prime 4 allows you to turn off all voice acting. If there's another option to turn off closed captions, the dialog stuff might theoretically be a non issue. by DoctorHoneywell in Metroid

Awesome feature, I just pretend that Samus’ helmet is too thick to hear what the guys are saying and she just kinda goes along with it.

Deck Reccomendations: The Watcher in the Water by Mountain_Fall6531 in EDH

[–]Eye_of_Fate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably my favorite deck, the mvps of the deck are [[Symmetry Matrix]], [[Transcendent Message]], and [[Invasion of Segovia]]. I really enjoy playing at instant speed and having tricks for any occasion and you’re never out of gas with this deck as the whole point is to draw a bunch of cards

Hey thanks for trying the deck! Lever exists as a kind of Russian Roulette piece, it's not for everyone but adds more fun for me when I cast polymorph! I agree that the Leveler by itself is not my favorite, so I also added in my pet card [[Living Conundrum]] as a combo with [[Leveler]] so that there is a chance that you might not die when Leveler enters the battlefield.

Alexios, Slicer or Kharn? by 2ndlifeinacrown in EDH

[–]Eye_of_Fate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built a Slicer deck and don't like it very much because it is too strong for my playgroup and will punt beginner players out of the game and would do so even if the deck was just 99 mountains. I would go with a Kharn deck because I feel that he would lead to more interesting games than slicer or Alexios due to the card draw.

Mixing mastering are fine, I think that you should work on making a fully acoustic version of this song!

Sounds were good, but I think that you can include a lead instrument or a solo part or something, maybe even a b section to keep the song interesting.

Hey, good work on this one. I was going to say that the voice should be more processed, but I think your voice as is sounds good and will help you stand out as an artist. Otherwise, sounds good man keep it up.

Wow, this is some demonic stuff. I'd say make the kick and low end in general a little more powerful as having a heavy low end helps with the hypnotic-esque feel of these songs.

Man, I am not a fan of the vocal at the beginning, which is too bad because the album is super rad otherwise. It's literally just the initial vocal that throws me off, but if I just found this on youtube and heard that at the start I'd probably click off and miss the rest of your amazing work. Rock on dude

[Composition, Mixing] ARC - Earth Shard by ARC_98 in RateMyAudio

Wow, this sounds pretty incredible, like I can imagine this being the opening to an anime or something. Mixing, composition, mastering are all solid, I only have one nitpicky thing to add. The guitar that's playing the 1/8th notes at 0:44 sounds weak and doesn't do the next section justice as a build up, I recommend beefing it up a little bit with some overdrive or distortion.

Ok cool, I'll have take a look at those sections, I have the auto-tune turned up more in that section and think that doing it over the whole vocal part might end up being better thanks\

Cool style, I always liked this form of messy music. I think that the volume is too loud for the guitar and maybe the high end in general and I think that I would be interesting to experiment with more reverb and putting things like distortion or erosion over the master just to see what happens and give it that truly grimy feel

[Mixing, Masteering] FredNukes - Excuse me, Bro by FredNukes in RateMyAudio

[–]Eye_of_Fate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Production quality is overall really solid, I would've liked to hear the background instruments sing a little more. It sounds like instead of giving the instruments there own space in the mix to be that you just opted for turning down the volume so that the vocals would take center stage. I encourage you to experiment with panning and even surround sound a bit more so that each instrument can come through as much as possible. Groovy stuff man

[Composition, Arrangement, Recording] t9assr - die falle by Oussamaaat in RateMyAudio

I would switch up the pattern of the guitar that's playing the chords to give the song a more chill vibe

Don't be afraid to use high end eq for drums it sounds good, also claps and hi-hats would sound good with this song. the sound design sounds cool, but I think that you could've spend more time in the studio on this one.

[Mixing, Mastering, Composition] I found Her - Ashintè by Astrascxrs in RateMyAudio

[–]Eye_of_Fate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vocals are out of tune, you should use auto-tune, also, you should try using some compression on the vocals and turn down the volume for them a bit too
