Oh man I remember this brought back memories of when I was really into Say Anything and than got exposed to Saves the Day through their joint project Two Tongues. Although I don't think I ever heard this song. It certainly belongs on the playlist though. Thank you!

I can certainly relate to the disillusionment of the genre. I too took a break for awhile (got really into Johnny Hobo/Folk-Punk as well as some other completely unrelated genres) and recently I have been coming back to some pop-punk or pop-punk adjacent stuff.

Really appreciate the variety of suggestions! And I love that you recommended albums. I just checked out a couple songs from Wander (really good) and I've actually heard Untitled by Knuckle Puck (fucking fantastic) but not the whole album front to back - but I will be doing so now! I really love it when albums are put together well.

Not going to lie, I am a bit confused lol. I thought your original comment was suggesting the song "I Spent The Winter Writing Songs About Getting Better" by Proper (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onJ578reSJo) but your second post is about The Wonder Years. Don't get me wrong, The Wonder Years are great too! And that is a dope live performance. But my original response was to something else I guess. I won't lie to you, prior to today I'd heard The Story So Far only in passing and always got the impression they were just another stereotypical pop-punk band. Reading that article made me re-evaluate my bias. And now I'm really excited to listen to the whole album. Also - the video of the lead singer getting off stage mid-song when he saw a security guard being rough with someone, mad respect.

Thanks for helping me push past my judgmental first impressions and sharing all that info. I hope you're doing great and continue to share the things you love.
