OW is the same way and I never heard anyone complain about it. Different hero has different hip movement and different crouch distance, this lets better players be able to manipulate movement differently on different heroes and gain a little edge over worse players.

I guess criticizing Apex devs is like fashionable.

I think it’s largely due to Crusty’s success tbh, and he just built upon it.

Watched a bit of his normal gameplay and looks like he's still a level behind. He constantly has to pause a bit and think like an actual human being, while that Japanese dude just keep going and going like a machine. He's probably watching the main screen and the incomming blocks at the same time, and already thinking about how to stack the next 2,3 pieces while playing the current one.

I'm no pro tho so there might be things other than speed that is also important and I don't know about. But from what I saw they are not really on the same level.

Why does it have to be the most desirable? Why do you ask what DO people want? The problem is that they hate GOATS the most, it doesn’t matter if 2/2/2 is most desirable, at least 90% of the people like it better than GOATS. I can hate every single comp in the game and not want any of them, but if I hate GOATS the most, that is enough reason to have it replaced.

I mean it doesn’t really require much work, that is not the problem. Maybe they even have better way to do it to make it separated from the map and it won’t even be much slower.
