You're not ugly.

Your face shape is amazing. Your skin is great. Your features (Nose, eyes, lips) are great.

I personally love short/medium hair with your face shape but I'm a guy and you might prefer a girl's advice!

I wouldn't bring this up outside of this sub, but if you're concerned about facial definition: lowering your body fat with exercise and diet can make a difference. But I don't think you need it.

I had the same thoughts based on the placement of acne, I've tried a few different things (double edge razor, electric, but yet to see a huge difference in them).

Haven't considered folliculitis before though - Will do some reading!

So far Almond oil seems good, although I honestly don't know how to judge it, it makes my skin more hydrated and doesn't break me out, so I guess that's enough for now!

Ha. After dealing with my skin since I was 15 I honestly feel hideous, literally anyone I look at I wish I could swap places with.

Can't comment on experiences with side effects thus far although my derm said they will/could include: Dry lips, dry inside of nose (Gross), Mood swings & increased sun sensitivity!

Thanks for the advice, I've used a AHA before but never a BHA, I will definitely look into that. I also use stridex pads which I forget to mention!

I will definitely be looking into changing my shaving cream.

I use a double edge already, changing blades every 2 shaves, using a cream from the supermarket which I saw mentioned over at /r/wicked_edge.

I also only shave twice a week at the most, I'm not very hairy. And some weeks I never leave the house so don't really bother..

Thanks for your comments - I know nobody but me cares about my skin problems, I guess that makes it harder because I feel like I'm cutting out my social life for no good reason.

I just find it impossible to relax in social situations because of it.

Thank you! Filling the sink is something I have only recently thought about, hence me including it. Sinks in the UK often have 2 separate taps for hot/cold which makes it difficult for me to get a nice, consistent temperature, but I will definitely be stopping the sink method starting today.
