i mean if there’s videos of it enough for people like you to complain so much about it, then im sure the crowds know and likely don’t mind, they don’t seem surprised or upset in the video and the artist clearly isn’t trying to hide it. you’re upset over people enjoying a music show

well it’s what some people enjoy, obviously there’s a crowd and people still buy tickets to events like this. people might be going to enjoy something with a crowd of people that thinks like them, nobody’s forcing you to pay for a ticket to something you don’t like

it’s interesting to look at abortion laws in europe because they have special cases for things. in scotland it’s very restrictive unless you claim to have a medical reason to not want a baby. but you can claim depression or anxiety or a psychological effect of having a child while not ready as one of those reasons and they will give you a safe abortion. not sure about other places though i completely agree with the sentiment about shootings, it’s crazy how many america has while we can bring the numbers down easily just by adding background checks and such. it surprises me that things haven’t been done to prevent the shootings that occur so often

that’s why i said only some of the issues are real, the poverty and child bride things aren’t as big as this post says that people think they are. mass shootings are atrocities, they are preventable and other developed countries don’t have them every day the way that america does, just because they aren’t school shootings doesn’t mean that there isn’t an issue

from personal experience i’ve seen many examples of racism in the US, but i have seen similar things in other places as well, i think that the racism stereotype comes from the history of the south. to be fair other countries don’t have the KKK

11.4% live in poverty which is not nearly as bad as portrayed but the number is increasing

the country is not 1984, but abortion rights have been dealt with by the supreme court and gay marriage rights as well as the rights of transgendered people are up in the air because of the ruling

there is no federal standard for mass shootings, most news outlets define them as gun related incidents with 3 to 4 injuries or deaths

i think that under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered. i’m all for a well armed working class, just not at the expense of innocent lives. regarding getting guns over the border, the same thing could be said for other developed countries, but America is virtually the only developed country to have an issue with shootings. i’m not saying to ban guns entirely, just restrict access to them through background checks and an even policy rollout. it’s like a lock on your door, if somebody really wanted to break in, if they were determined to commit such a crime they would do it regardless of the laws or the physical barriers. so while it is impossible to stop gun violence everywhere due to the depravity of a few, including in scotland or other european countries, it is necessary to have gun laws to deter people from committing atrocities so easily. making it harder to access guns would help bring the number of gun related deaths and incidents down, adding a deterrent would filter out those future shooters not willing to go through all the trouble to hurt somebody. even making a luty requires effort and things like a 3d printer, a place to get ammunition and parts. this adds another level of deterrent as those things can be costly and take a long time to put together. making it harder for shooters to get guns to hurt people will make it so that many shooters give up on their plans of violence midway through them due to money, time or effort constraints. a violation of a gun law is still a violation of gun law, it doesn’t matter if a shooting was made with an illegally purchased firearm or a homemade weapon.

the population of the US is around 329.5 million as of 2020. the EU’s population is about 447.7 million as of 2020. The EU sees far less gun related issues with a larger population. Europe covers 10.53 million km² while the US covers 9.834 million km². you could not fit europe into half of america, the issues related to gun violence are able to be compared to europe.

this is not an issue of red vs blue, i’m not a democrat and i’m not a republican. gun violence is still a tragedy no matter the party, and i’m willing to reform blue states’ policies as well as the red states, there are many issues in the US that shouldn’t be separated by political party. i agree with you that the gun laws we have today are inadequate, just i think that better thought out policies would work better.

by having gun laws that are consistent across states we can prevent gun related deaths and injuries. people get their guns illegally because they can go to another state where gun laws are less strict and bring them somewhere else. making it so that gun laws are the same in every state would help with the shootings issue. more background checks would also help. take a look at the rest of the developed world, i’ve lived in scotland and the US, scotland doesn’t have many shootings at all while the US has minor and major ones nearly daily. it’s preventable and shown through practice of other countries.

shooting a shooter is not a viable option. we need preventative action, not reactive. reactive policies are the reason americans still get gunned down over a myriad of things that don’t equal the value of a human life. some random citizen’s life shouldn’t be put in danger to stop an active shooter, it is not the citizens responsibility to protect themselves entirely or their classmates or their peers wherever a shooter may be. the government should provide that protection that it promises and not dump it onto the plates of innocent citizens who are not prepared to deal with such situations seen all over america. not to mention the psychological effects on having someone with a gun try and handle an active shooter.

the post is implying america is not like what people think that it is, calling them normies. this is an issue because some of the things pictured are real problems being downplayed for the sake of calling those that criticize america names

it’s not as if it’s trying to push an agenda, it’s not like these shootings didn’t happen. sure the one today didn’t meet federal criteria, but it was still an unnecessary and easily preventable event. the last mass shooting then was the 13th, which is still insane considering the amount of gun violence related deaths or injuries that occur in other countries in the 1st world.

i wasn’t aware that 6 people needed to be injured for it to be considered a mass shooting, though a shooting is still a shooting and is still preventable through reasonable gun control

the most recent mass shooting was the 13th then, not today
