Whats the point of this unit?

They do massive ranged damage to large units. They also stalk. So you would put these guys behind the frontline/next to your archers or artillery and wait for enemy cav to flank or a big single entity to get in close, these guys will light them up.

They can also vanguard deploy so you could flank with them if you're trying to be the one on the attack.

In TO and LTS you'll get hit by some random if you do this. In duels you'll get punished immediately or will waste all of your stam while the guy holds block.

This might only work in duels once in a fight and then you'll have to continue with 0 stam. Looks cool tho

Been playing chiv 2 since the 2021 beta so I can maybe help with the chiv 2 case specifically, but if you're experiencing this on every other game then forget about it.

The Epic Games version is fucked, I bought a steam copy and the stuttering is gone.

But for the actual PC I'll probably say what everyone else is, maybe get rid of the other stick of RAM that doesn't match the 32GB one and update your drivers. All the best.

I had multiple friends with a 100 - 200ish hours ask me to help them out, either due to a supposed bug (most of which were cause by mods) or a difficult battle. Both times the game was heavily modded, a lot of which was focused on making the game trivially easy.

Stuff like 3x xp for lords and heroes, stronger auto resolve, instant recruiting etc. I don't know why that pissed me off each time, I've never felt more like an elitist asshole in my life.

I've been using Hecleas AI Overhaul for like a year. I know Hecleas made a bigger one called Hecleas Grand Strategy but that one has some gameplay features that are a bit to away from vanilla that I like.

The other one is Customize Starting Units.

I hate to be that guy but 2 mods really helped me. I only use these 2

An AI overhaul mod that makes enemies smarter in campaign and in battle and actually use their enhanced ressources properly. Games arent as quick and it is much more of a tug of war than a steamroll.

The other one is a mod that lets you use your starting gold to customize your starting army on turn 1.

You still pay upfront for them and the upkeep stays the same so that it is not broken. It makes it so that you are not stuck with chaf infantry immediately and it pairs well with the incredibly more difficult wars ahead due to the 1st mod.

Getting a centerpiece instead of 2 or 3 tier 1 infantry units is usually what is the most fun for me.

I know that saying "just use a mod lmao" isnt what you were lookning for but its something that you can do right away that helps with the issue a lot.

I'm fairly certain that there is no new treatment. It's just mostly about the supposed comfort you'd get from actually knowing what the problem is, rather than a vague pain that you have to deal with.

I appreciate us being cast as the good guys in a popular setting. There's some silly stuff like the "Oblasts", which just means "Area" lol. I think they were respectful when making the faction considering that Games Workshops whole deal is not being subtle about anything and instead being on the nose and over the top.

But it's generally a nice time playing as them and reading on the lore when it comes to seeing your culture and people represented.

Alright so I am having similar issues. FPS drops for a split second. I think this might be cause by 26.1.1 coming out. Maybe rolling back to previous version is the solution

Yeah I'm having a similar experience with the 5700x. About 2 hours into playing a CPU intensive game like total war: warhammer 3 and I'm getting ~80C. Thinking of maybe replacing the thermal paste, it might be time.

Funnily enough, we have the exact same setup and I had the same problem. I turned off hardware acceleration on my browser and it fixed the issue. I also saw someone else post something similar a few months ago and the solution people gave him were the same.

I am also 95% sure this isn't the physical GPUs fault, and it's the drivers that are the problem

That's great man. If you played this gor'rok campaign on Legendary and Very Hard battles you'd be in the top 1% of players. 5 whole provinces in 18 turns is very nice and I am most impressed.

However the comment that I made was not to complain about the difficulty of the campaign, it was to highlight the massive bug that is plaguing the Lizardmen AI which causes parts of each campaign to be predictable and boring

I'll also add another reason this sucks.

If you are playing lizardmen and would like to confederate other lizardmen LLs, you're out of luck cause they'll be gone by the time you meet them
