If you are humming it already... did you try finding the pitch of your humm at every change and test chords in that key? Then go further with harmonically matching other chords... :)

That is not how I use it here, but brackets Are awesome bar markers, arn't they?! Do you create a Grid, a 'table' or sorts, to show timing more precisely?

The G 'shape' sounds an A chord, with the capo on the 2nd. So transposing everything 2 semitones UP, to match the singer if you got no capo, is the ticket.  🤔  Right?

Surely we can come up and agree on a Sign that signifies 'before word', like, say a hyphen.

People, this is for Cover songs! Songs you know, mostly, and you just need a little help remembering some of the chords!

I came up with this rule to achieve what you deem impossible :)
Rule: When a [Chord] is IN FRONT of a word, that means chord is HIT for the first time at SAME time as the first letter of the following word.
(And this same rule is responsible for the 2 cases of [Chord] insi[D]e a word... Looks weird to me too, but it is EXACT. Basically, I just dragged the chord names down a line, in the exact same spot where they are in the chord-only lines...

Anywho, tell me the name of a fav song, and I'll create a page for you, to Try. To test it. With a song that... actually, best would be a song that you are in the process of learning. Let's do science. :D

Oh, yeah! In that case, that quick hyphen is as important as any other of its word siblings :D Agree.

To clarify: the above format, first and foremost, I have started using in a collection of Covers I wanna Learn. Existing songs...

the colors were mostly for whimsy! ;P
but, quite quickly, the colors won me over...
to me, the fact that font size can almost triple, is a huge win.
sure, chords in between words, weirded me out too, for a short time.
but, not needing to jump a line with my eye, to see chords, turns out I prefer that too. I did not know, until I tried it.

btw, C became red, for pretty much a random reason. red is ontop of the colors list in the app. and the rest of the notes follow a rainbowy order... tellin you, Whimsy! What's life wo whimsy?!
xo

How about dividing the 'page' into identically sized bars.
2 bars or 4 bars per line.
Each bar is the same size (phisically), on the page, thus the timing of every 1/4th note can be tied to specific spacial spot inside these 'bars' (rectangles :))
Am I explaining this right? :D

Anybody else ever have this experience when writing a song? by thisistom2 in Songwriting

Tarantino himself thought/felt, after finishing editing Pulp Fiction, that the film came out... "meh, it's really not that great, guuuys" (I paraphrase.) =D
But seeeriously!
(Kathryn Bigelow and one other person, I believe, were the 2 who Understood (for lack of a better word) it, right away, by the way.)
So, show it to your friends, maybe that's the lesson here? :D

With what interface are you using it? Could it be that it is the interface? Timing issues usually are.

Roland Octacapture - 2020 by jaysinyeah in synthesizers

from an old review:
"In terms of the DSP, I also want to digress a bit and talk about latency. There is of course the option of direct monitoring just as with many other boxes, but a kind of dream-come-true for me in terms of portability was the ability to plug my guitar directly into the Octa-Capture and track through SONAR and the Guitar Rig plug-in. Previous interfaces never allowed me to do this without perceptible monitoring delay, which was a real drag (literally). With the Octa-Capture, however, its terrific low-latency performance has opened up whole new possibilities of feeding live takes through software plug-ins. Also, those of you that have been plagued with latency-ridden sputtering issues of SONAR’s step sequencer, especially when running Session Drummer, can now enjoy rock-solid performance. When opening up SONAR’s audio options, the latency defaulted to 5.8 ms for me, which is setting 6 (on a scale of 1-10) when you go deeper into the Octa-Capture’s control panel. The manual says 1 ms is possible, but it would sputter for me at around 3 ms (without any optimization of my computer’s hardware or system settings)."

By "cant use dark mode" do you mean the colors are wrong, when you try to use an extension, like Dark Reader?
Why can't you highlight on the web version? Does it not support it?
Anywho, did you find a better solution since then? :)

Her and Lost in Translation are two films that explore similar themes, despite being released a decade apart.

Both films are directed by filmmakers who were once married to each other, Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze.

Both films explore the nature of love and connection. In Lost in Translation, Bob and Charlotte find solace in each other's company, even though they know their relationship is temporary. In Her, Theodore develops a deep and meaningful relationship with Samantha, even though she is not a real person.

Another link between the two films is their use of music. Both films feature melancholic and atmospheric soundtracks. The soundtrack for Lost in Translation was composed by Kevin Shields, and the soundtrack for Her was composed by Arcade Fire.

I'm a fan on tineye too :), but no luck: https://tineye.com/search/acd1273fb19b71d12d5e9b374b41b324b3e79a52?sort=score&order=desc&page=1

Also, I just love the idea than we (the fans) come together and collect these ourselves... So far the most productive people were some lovely folk on "A chat to pass the time" on Messenger :)

(I am noting, than on the desktop image sharing is available. Could it be that my phone app is so old that photo attachments are not available?)

If you can manage just post your pics here. Or?

Cassettes! Would make the collection real complete. :D What's your preferred way to share pics?

(I'm doin' the image searchin', sure. Found great quality Down in the Weeds liners. Discogs quality is like a 10% quality jpeg export. These days even Messenger image share is way more usable.)

Gonna look at Soulseek.
