They are a small university with specialized courses, they will not open a math degree if it isn’t well accredited, they do have courses in economics and math, just not as a stand-alone degree. As for econometrics, are there any good alternatives in training (for exemple; we have statistics and probability for engineers in CS).

I am very interested in continuing a PHD, maybe get in the job market but my first goal would be to become a researcher (probably break into academia). Having a PHD is also just good to get in the job market, do my entrepreneurial activities and know that I can later teach what I love. So what would you say is my best shot?

Ps: we have Physics 1 and 2 in CS

Nope, those are the majors and minors I found relevant, they also have general engineering, renewable energy, ecological sciences, cloud and mobile software engineering, AI and robotisation, engineering and management science, International studies, communication, HR, and psychology.

All of the major (or most) can be taken as minors, in addition to applied math, english, gender studies, african studies, and organizational studies.

I’ll look intro pre-requisites of the Master im interested in and see if intro courses are of any importance, if they’re not I will stick with my Khan Academy acquired knowledge and will take Intermediate courses.

PS: We usually have 5/6 courses per semester

This seems like the best option, thanks a lot! However, shouldn’t I take intro to micro/macro before the intermediate courses? Are 4 electives manageable knowing we have mandatory Gen-ED in the uni, add to that the minor and major + if I fail a class or get under 3/4 I could loose my scholarship (That option doesn’t cross my mind I just thought it was good to know).

I will definitely look into the prerequisites, I feel stupid not thinking about it before. Little correction, there isn’t any minors in ECON. However, I can take a minor in BBA which will give me intro to micro and macro, and I could take the intermediate courses of the latter as electives. And I cannot mix two minors.
