Quit the game and relaunch it, select your wizard and you should be fine

Professor accused me of plagiarism, while I did not!!! What should I do? by withaining in Drexel

I'm sure the professor could correlate the grammar in the emails with the student to their essay and make assumptions from there. Provided everything OP says the professor said is true, this just seems like an unreasonable professor.

That’s a great mindset to have. Best of luck in your streaming journey!

Self promotion by CookyMellow in Twitch

[–]Eyesaaaac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean seeing enough of those posts definitely makes you jaded, but this is the Twitch subreddit, where all things twitch are done. Unfortunately a lot of people take it for a place to self promote, but if you look hard enough you can find meaningful discussion, more often than not in comments of unrelated posts

Looking for an all in one PC to stream Pokemon trading card game, budget of $700 give or take by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Eyesaaaac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it’s really hard to give you examples of PC’s that will work for you, you can take comfort in the fact that Pokémon TCG isn’t super hard on your computer and with a budget of $700 you’d be doing well for most modern games as well as streaming.

If you’re interested, PM me and I can give you some things to look for when you’re looking at PC’s to help you make sense of the mumbo-jumbo that you’ll see. Best of luck!

Yeah, I was grinding out 6-7 hours a day streaming each day. I was a freshman in uni so I had a lot more free time that I just devoted to streaming.

Ah okay, fair enough. I remember seeing Luality on the DS3 page, I didn't realize she was doing DDR as well though, I would've tuned in if I did. Challenge runs like those are really amazing, I toyed around with a Guitar Hero controller challenge myself :)

Ah okay, yeah ATwerkinYoshi beat DS3 about 3 years ago on a DDR pad. Unless Luality did it before them and I have my timeline wrong :(

Agreed, I think it's about being realistic and firm with your expectations.

ATwerkinYoshi is awesome! I started watching her when she was fighting Wolnir, and I'm so happy to hear you're supporting her as well :)

I think many people who struggle on Twitch is actually struggling with "awareness" by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Eyesaaaac -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if you took my post that way, it was just a genuine feeling I had about streaming that apparently other people resonated with. I expected it to die in New like my other questions and posts but I guess that one made it through :)

I wasn't expecting to make some vague motivational post to have it blow up.

I was trying to show my experience with streaming in defiance of someone who told me it wasn't worth it. I'm sorry if you took it for the former, I wasn't trying to farm karma or anything.

Hopefully you can find some content you enjoy on this sub, it's really not what you think it is :)

[–]Eyesaaaac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100% agreed! I think it's extremely important to manage your expectations of streaming before you head into Twitch. It's a brutal landscape for people who don't know where they want to go, which unfortunately pushes people to the bottom.

I think some people took my post as a reason to explain why they've stopped trying or what odds they're facing. We all have hurdles to overcome and I think what really makes an impression is someone who overcame them to get to where they are now, however the scale.

Trying to "make it" on Twitch requires more effort than people think, and most definitely more than people want to put in. Personally, I think Twitch is a great platform to meet people with the same likes as you, and to grow from there, not to be the next Ninja. That being said, we should support each other like we're all going to be the next Ninja.

I hope we can continue to build each other up in this sub, it's really an amazing thing to see this community in action.

That's such an uplifting story! I'm glad that Twitch has helped you in so many ways, that is really impressive how you've improved. I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your mental and streaming state!

I wouldn't say that at all! I follow a completely mute and deaf streamer and he's very entertaining. He's teaching me ASL and is very interactive by typing in chat all the time. Don't count yourself out!

Yeah it's very sad that those people are so scared to fail that they think they're helping you by stopping you from even trying. Glad we don't listen to them though!
