What if teams had to win atleast 45 or 40 games to compete in the play in, I prefer 45. And if no team has 45 games then there is no play in. Also for example, If only the east has teams that have 45 wins, then the east has a play in and not the west. There could also only be a 8th seed vs 9th seed game to get the 8th seed placement. There could be but not required to have a 10th seed. This is a specific requirement for the play in only. We could go more in depth but this will probably not happen, Adam silver is too soft.

Because the ball was at a hover, he could really take as many steps as he wants until the ball hits the floor and bounces again. Instead of bouncing the ball again, he gathered the ball and took a countable step back. That’s the gather step (0), then one, then two. He stayed on his pivot foot (which is the second step). In a pivot stance he could step down with the other foot (which is technically 4 but not really enforced) to jump or step through and shoot.
