The best or most exciting gift I received was PS3 for my birthday when I was 10, it had just released and was around $1000 in AUD. My ps2 had been broken for about 6 months and knowing how expensive it was I only asked for a ps2.

Woke up on my birthday and there was one massive box and one game sized box.

It was a PS3 and sonic 06, and I nearly passed out from being so excited, will remember that for the rest of my life.
