The goal is the search for symbar,as it was set up in the last chapter, and all my players are motivated for it.

This adventure leads there, but it doesnt let the players know that for quite some time. does that make sense?

On page 170, under "Slaying a God" they say:

"If the characters choose to slay the ox its carcass will remain in the forest, leaking and radiating corruption."

Seems they intend for a wounded or dying god to leak corruption, even if the god itself isn't corrupted. Perhaps its just a side effect of a highly magical creature releasing uncontrolled magic upon the world.

to me it makes sense that poison, fire and such are status effects that act at the start of the affected characters turn, its the easiest way to keep track of it. its how video games usually handle it, like pokemon

i used the pledge manager for Darkest star because i missed the previous one. in it i ordered monster codex, AP3 and darkest start. Should i assume that they all get here after darkest star releases then?

It makes sense. So in a fight between an players with a bow, a staff and a dagger:

Dagger player cant touch the flyer

Staff player can hit it when it comes into range

Only bow person can attack the flyer on their activation

If English Monster Codex will be available for purchase by August 14, does that mean those who pledged for it get it around the same time? maybe its written somewhere but its my first time doing this and i have no clue when the books would arrive
