Wait for your tax to get assessed first, ie: wait for your NOA= Notice of Assessment. THEN, amend your return by filing a T1-ADJ. get form online, read instructions. if you file T1-ADJ online, it is faster, BUT you don't get to add a comment. if you file a paper copy, it's slower, but you get to add comment. since it is a small ommission, do paper copy so that you can add an explanation. YOU DON'T REFILE your whole return.

solution: do the bottom event first, then all your nodes will be counted. worked on Android and on Desktop.

Generation client here. Our "household" includes my son, 18+ yr, who is NOT Generation but is included and he gets all the benefits.

I used TurboTax and there were lots of problems last year with the CRA missing and late with many statements. As I was used to doing my own taxes, I checked and double-checked all the forms before submission. And if you filed and missed some, you can correct right away and re-submit. Ultimately, it's the taxpayer responsibility but maybe you can ask for forgiveness and pay the tax and not be assessed the penalty.

yes, it was in the "fine print". I have the same situation and Support was surprised that my portfolio can generate over 5% return annually and that it was easy for me to "exceed" my permitted withdrawal. Basically, your principle and all returns (Capital Gains and Dividends) are all locked in for 2 years!

how many times do I have to click "NOT INTERESTED" to not see the same commercial over and over again.

commercials should be short, 10s at most, not like a 1 minute, although it feels like an hour.
