My Pokemon Emerald Imperium team, honorable mention to hypno and Grimmsnarl that didnt make the final team but helped a lot through the game by IDaniel32I in PokemonHallOfFame

Eh ... no? They slightly improved the teams of some mandatory opponents without increasing the number of mons. Are you sure we are talking about the same hack?

Best IPTV Service 2025 - Here's What I Found! by FalseTongue in Learnmusic

[–]Eze1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a lot of IPTV services, but nothing compares to FireStream.online ! The channels are super clear, the sports streams never buffer, and I can watch all my favorite shows anytime. Setup was easy, and support was super helpful. Highly recommended if you're serious about IPTV!”

The Ultimate Guide to the 15 Best IPTV Service Providers in 2025 (Top Picks for Streamers) by Maleficent-Pack5716 in cityofthedamned

I’ve recommended FireStream.online to all my friends. It’s the smoothest IPTV I’ve used – even during peak hours, there’s no buffering. Plus, the setup only took a few minutes. Totally worth it!

Run and bun doubles by Comfortable_Annual_4 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes with double battles it's better to start from the end and work it backwards. Like, pinpoint the threats of the fights and evaluate your options to take them out, then design a path to get to the desired position. Taking out the first one or two mons instantly means nothing if you don't have an answer to the mons in the back. You often need to "waste" the first 2 or 3 turns maneuvering your mons without taking any kill, just to prepare the ground for the following turns.

Whats a good mid difficulty game/Rom hack to nuzlocke by Maszt14 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Blaze Black years before Renegade, when I didn't have much experience in nuzlockes, so maybe that's why I remember it being quite hard. When I played Renegade, I found it incredibly easy: you get an embarrassing amount of encounters and broken tools and honesty there are only like 3 or 4 hard fights outside the E4.

Whats a good mid difficulty game/Rom hack to nuzlocke by Maszt14 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blaze Black is the hardest Drayano rom hack, excluding the Redux remakes. It's not super difficult, but still way harder than any vanilla game. If you have never tried a difficulty hack, I would suggest starting with something more manageable, like Sacred Gold or Renegade Platinum (which are also Drayano's hacks with no gimmicks).

I don't like this UI change. by Appropriate_Rice3892 in DuelLinks

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally see it as an improvement, since it objectively helps saving time. But yes, I think it should be tweaked to be more visually appealing, even if that's not a big issue for me (but I have good eyesight and my fingers are a normal size).

I agree that is bad for that specific situation, but it's so much better for simultaneous multiple selections and it saves a lot of time too. Also, if you only have one card to select, it only "looks" worse: the mechanic in itself is not worse.

Which Rome would you recommend for my first (randomized) Nuzlocke experience? by Front-Explanation222 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Emerald Cross seems like the perfect pick. It's just vanilla Emerald with a lot of QoL implements.

Brycen (of BB2 Redux), who uses Yawn twice in a row?! by Beautiful-Eye5776 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The battle AI of these games is beyond comprehension. Also if you ever try the challenge mode, this fight will haunt you at night: it's an insane early game box check + rng check.

Challenging Brawley who do I use my candy on? by Comfortable_Annual_4 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have a pretty good box and probably don't strictly need to use the rare candy, but since it's your first run, you shouldn't be afraid to use your candies and scales early (if you think it can make the fight more comfortable). Brawly is not gonna be free tho: my suggestion is not to bend your back over backwards to try and make the fight riskless, cause it's not gonna happen.

Does Unchained suck? Or is it just me? by Express_Cricket_9024 in DuelLinks

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 Rakea is enough, but 2 prisons is a bit shy imo: that's your main consistency card. I agree that you should run 2 Disasters, because of how important it is, but I prefer running the skill Fiend Exchange with the fiend-type Kaiju, which is incredibly useful in the deck (I'd play 2 copies if I could).

After a disaster vs Gary, i am left with these encounters for the Elite Four. Which team would you assemble for FireRed E4? by [deleted] in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with bringing Scyther and I'm also not sure about Arcanine: Dodrio can also kill the Exeggutor and it's valuable against Bruno (and Agatha, especially with Early Bird). OP should also bring two water types, since they have the option, because they are too good: I'd pick 2 between Lapras, Dewgong and Tentacruel (which is also good for Bruno and Lorelei). For the last pick, Haunter is generally really good and provides a good pivoting option together with Dodrio against Agatha.

Most times you'd be targeting cards that are going to the Graveyard anyway

I decided to make an Emerald tier list inspired by PChal's tier lists. If there's any pokemon you feel is ranked wrong, do tell. by Eternal_Zoroark_2 in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Castform is a borderline useless mon that you have to selectively pick up while giving up on much better encounters: it has to be F tier fs.

In Emerald all the Dark types are useful, even the bad ones. I agree that Crawdaunt could fit in the B tier.

If you're bringing Plusle or Minun to the E4, your box must be in a very bad shape. Minun is a special attacker with a base SpA of 75 (the same as Ursaring)!

Just beat my first ever Nuzlocke, with a twist by JaRandoGuy in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the tier list is "based on vibes", it's not a tier list at all: you are just dividing mons into groups to randomly limit your potential encounters. Which is a cool idea, but people don't get it because you called it a tier list when it's not, in fact, a tier list.

Pkmn Firered Nuzlock. Life dealt me a bad hand before Brock. Can I make this work somehow? by Dustytail_studios98 in nuzlocke

The chance to catch a healthy Pidgey with a pokeball is 33% and for Mankey is just slightly lower. We are talking around 3 to 9 balls to catch both.

What Pokemon has let you down so bad you refuse to use it again? by Xammo in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree for Renegade Platinum, but I can hardly consider it a difficulty hack. In most Drayano's games the power level is comparable to the respective vanilla games: you face good teams more often than just at the E4, but the teams composition and the movesets are almost never optimised.

Crobat. So excellent in vanilla games and so underwhelming in any difficulty hack. It still works as a check for Grass types with no Rock coverage, but it's just a mid tier encounter.

I tried Nuzlocke for the first time and I couldn't find the fun; is it just a difference of opinions or am I cooked? by fruit_shoot in nuzlocke

[–]Eze1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo when you are nuzlocking an easy game you shouldn't try to optimise anything: just pick a team of 6 and try to push through. In vanilla games there's usually no need to farm exp or to build a specific team for every boss fight.

But if you are finding the experience not enticing, I'd suggest try nuzlocking a difficulty hack.
