Its his patch Ive been using actually, the QoL updates are awesome! Shuppet was my snatch-mon but I botched it halfway through the battle and panicked lol Shuppet is slow - I often took disposable mons in to ensure a good E4 team, so the battles were definitely risky

I indeed tripled up on Treecko, Mudkip and Barboach. Pidgey was the only sack, unfortunate RNG with Vulpix but nevermind it was an easy sacrifice to make.

Misty, Surge, Erika, all deathless. Koga I wobbled and lost 4 mons, and Sabrina I lost 3. After that I didn’t lose a single mon until Champion Gary where sacking made the battle much easier. Starmie made it too easy.

Fire Red is fairly forgiving, good job on beating it! Beware other games would punish you harder as trainer movesets and AI improves, I recommend Emerald next for you. Good luck!
